No you are right. I opened it and it just has Varn Gosam's turn when i open it... but i don't understand how.

okay. i deleted all the old files and redownloaded again. did everything again. and now it says to enter your password. So i assume there was some corruption last time or maybe the file was overwritten from a previous version when saving it messed up how PBEM does things.

But now it should work.

It's a problem with the FFH file names in the first two turns (they're both named turn 1 or something like that). You have to delete the previous turn filemto make it work.

I just sent mine on to Dantski, hopefully it's the correct one. It was the only one available, since I had delete the previous turn file, so it should be good

Yeah. Blitz session would be good. I was going to wait until Stasis was triggered to suggest it, but maybe that won't happen for ages.

Sunday would be good for me, but I could do other days.

I just want to voice my concern about some changes made to this game map.

We agreed on playing on a raging barbs + barb world setting. That made me choose the leader and Civ that I chose. Unfortunately, that's not what we got.

I don't want to give any map spoilers, so I won't go into details. But there are things in this map that ruin my game and my strategies. But we haven't agreed on adding this things, so there was nothing I could have done to be prepared.

I'll keep on playing the game, since I don't want to ruin everybody's fun and since I can still try to win it (albeit is going to be very hard). But I just want to say that I'm not confortable with it...

It's not exactly what I was expecting from those settings either. I can roll with it though, if everyone else is happy. I did ask for something odd.

Spoilers that I don't particularly mind you seeing, but which contain map info.
Basically, no settlers, barbarian world is normally a vast untamed wilderness for large periods of the game, but with enough barb cities popping up to keep a steady influx of cities. It's a pretty interesting gameplay style. What we have here seem to be basically preplaced empires, with little opportunity to roam the wilderness or to interact with other nations until your chunk is taken over. Not exactly what I was expecting. Maybe I'm wrong.

The preplaced strong defenders does really screw over Clan of Embers. Um.. sorry.
