Can we ban city trading? There's no diplo so it doesn't serve much of a point except for the reason plako wanted to ban anyway.
Also, can we nail down how close we all start? That will effect how we plan our teams out.

Personally I can think of at least one non-cheese way to gift cities in an AW team game.

Speaker Wrote:Sullla and I will be auctioning off the third spot on our team, with the proceeds going to charity. We will either donate the money to Habitat for Humanity, or Firaxis. We haven't decided yet.
Pick the best player you know for your third and generic rather than 'speaker-centric' settings (again, not intended as an insult but as you mentioned in your previous response to Parkin, this is your playground) and we can tango I guarantee it won't be a pitboss 2 repeat. Even had the bones of the team sorted
I know you guys are set on medieval so i wish you all the best. All i would possibly suggest is that games are much more fun if they're close.

There's no guarantee that we won't see them Sam/CKN rushed out early.

So, this map is going to have 4 teams.
There are 4 religions which will exist in the game from the early turns: Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. All of Philo, DR and Theo will be unresearched. I think it would be rather imbalancing if one team got 2 of the starting 4 religions and another team got none, and I don't know if # of religions/team is taken into account when spreading religions around on T6 or T7 or whenever it is.
Should you WB each team a starting religion (a religious missionary is probably the fairest way to do that, since they can then sort out which team gets it and they don't have to pre-settle)?

I'd like to know which wonders are going to be banned. MoM, SoZ, anything else?

Here are some basics for Medieval start:

I can definately see that these settings favor players like Speaker having lot of team game experience, but then again I'm sure that best players here could adapt to these setting and be competitive. Kyan why not give it a shot? I would definately like to see, if you can beat Speaker and Sullla using their settings? If not what would make it for you? Ancient start?

I think a change from it always being ancient start would be interesting, and even if Spulla are familiar with it, should still at least be competative right?

I am still willing to work as occasionally turn-player in more like dead-lurker style with someone already signed up or going to. I don´t feel I will be competitive alone. So anyone need a help in spamming of thread?

So, going from Speaker's list these 10 people signed on:
Quote:Speaker
Sullla
Antisocialmonkey
WarriorKnight
Luddite
Kuro
Oledavy
Twinkletoes89
Shoot the Moon
regoarrarr
There's also a few people who stated they were tentatively interested or signed up before Speaker started recording them. Seeing as there are 2 more spots that need to be filled, could those people confirm if they want to join in or not? (or are available as dedicated lurkers etc.) After that we can sort the teams out and sort out any rules that need to be decided.
