This SOUNDS right since there's the issues with Macs and locked modified assets. I wonder if something about the way Civ4 handles passwords just doesn't fit with the Mac version. If necessary, we could play without passwords for Mac player's civs. I mean, we're playing on trust at RB anyways.

Yeah, we can redo ours quickly if you want to restart.
And, I agree with Plako it's annoying that civstats doesn't show whose turn it is.

Are we for sure restarting then? It would just be nice to get a definitive confirmation one way or the other so I know whether I need to try to finish our turn in the next hour or not.

No one has strongly objected to restarting, nor has anyone come forward to offer to modify the current save, nor has anyone expressed contentment of playing on with 4 protective archers in the game, so my sense is we're left with reloading.

Unless I hear otherwise the reload will be happening in a few hours anyways wink

edit. and sorry for my bad English comprehension frown. It seems you meant editing the current save.

Ok, sounds good. I assumed we were going to reload, but didn't want to have to force a reload from not moving all of my units yet if my assumption had proved incorrect =)

From what I have read online about Pitboss games, something to do with having the Lock Modified Assets setting on messes up playing the game natively on Mac OSX. At least that is the best I could ever determine from trying to join games unsuccessfully over at civfanatics.com

I don't think this option is enabled, though new random seed is. Either way, I can toggle this when I load the new game, so let me know if it should be one way or another.
