You only get soldier points for every two pop points so those 2k soldier points must have come from somewhere else I would guess.
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

Ok, so 2,000 soldier points. We have ruled out population. And no techs are cheap enough to show as 2,000, plus we have no point increase against it.

So they have built something, either a unit:

2000 soldiers – Warrior, Quechua, Galley ... seems unlikely

Or a building:

2000 soldiers- Walls, Dry Dock, Forge, Factory, Stable, Mint, Assembly Plant, Industrial Park, Levee, Dike

So Walls (34 hammers), Forge (80) or Stable (40)

3 turns and 1 chop doesn't get you a forge, and a wall makes no sense to me, so my guess is India (could anybody else have moved and chopped by now?) has a stable - although wouldn't you get a barracks first?

I'm not sure why India would be looking at building a stable. Surely if it were to be anyone building something like that, that early then it would be Mongolia?

Would it be possible that they have settled on a metal/horse and built a more advanced unit like a spear/axe or chariot and that counts as the points?

Could anythign other than a fast worker have chopped by now? If the answer is yes then I agree its more likely to be a mongolia.

Those units are the only ones that give 2000 points, any other built unit would have given more

Here are the various stats for T88, as always points are available from the screenshots in my thread if needs be. Note the religions have now also landed

35 GNP? Somebody must be working a commerce tile. Even me, working a 3/0/3 Lake and a 3/0/1 Flood Plains and a religion, only has 28 GNP.

So odds are that somebody got a religion, has their second city working a commerce tile and their first also working a commerce tile, perhaps a high yield one(A Calender resource?). Also probably researching something with a prereq bonus: Somebody may be going Music, which gets a 40% prereq bonus. Philosophy is the only other one with a 40% bonus researchable, all the others are 20%.

19 food must be Wet corn + a city growth + a good food second city. 2 + 2 from city tiles, + 6 from wet Corn = 10. If we assume that the second city has a three food tile, unimproved food resource or something, then we only need 6 food to get to 19: Odds are two two food tiiles from a size 3 city and one from a size 2 city.
