Also, anyone have any idea what Elkad is doing? Yeah I know the land surrounding his capital was pretty iffy, but the capital was solid and he's had no major problems right? I just don't fully understand why he seems so far behind.

I kind of like the different dramas playing out.

On the west end, it's kind of peaceful, with just some border skirmishes going on.

In the middle, you have some battles - one team eliminated - plus more border skirmishes.

On the east end, you've already had one elimination and battle continues to wage fiercely, including a major skirmish. Plus, the west and east has met.

It's all pretty interesting.

Right now, I think I'd say that pindicator is probably in the best shape - he's not missing anything, he's been able to farm, he's about to get a great wonder. his land isn't the best, but sunrise has great land just to his north wink And sunrise looking like he's ahead will make him a target before pindicator.

Am I reading this incorrectly, or does Mongolia have 5 citizens but only 4 of them are working tiles? Not even one of the clams?

Also, LP should make the northeast city his Moai (as Moai oceans are weaker than Moai coasts). The northwest city should be a GP farm/draft camp.

Yeah, I feel like this game will be decided mostly by how things develop between sunrise and pindicator.

He probably will be, since it doesn't look like his neighbors have the ability or inclination to stop him at this point. But I know I'd cheer for Sunrise & Pindicator to do well much moreso than LP. So far it looks like Pind & Sunrise are each likely to look for softer targets than one another as a first conquest.
