Remind me never to try to pink dot you should we ever end up in a game together.
Or be in the same hemisphere as you ![]() It's like sometime during PB6 you and Lewwyn switched personalities. While Lewwyn was patiently husbanding his forces and holding out for the CV, you started launching death or glory ancient era wars in your pitbosses :neenernee oledavy Wrote:It's like sometime during PB6 you and Lewwyn switched personalities. SevenSpirits Wrote: In his defense I had signs posted all over the Native American map outlining the rough goals of my invasion before Commodore ever logged into our civ in PB7. Then again upon seeing the plans his first comments were along the lines of "Ooooo, me like" so he probably is as bloodthirsty as he seems. But as a lurker in this game, all I can say is make 'em bleed. It would be awesome to see someone win a pitboss because they were the only civ still able to fight come the final turn, especially if they were the cause of a lot of the damage. (And I may need a history lesson, I don't specifically know how all the RB pitboss games ended).
Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon
Wow thanks (?) guys. To be fair, I think if I was, say, Fredrick of Holy Rome I'd be happily building away. Except about Coneheads, I guess, pink dots cannot be tolerated. Speaking of Coneheads, got it surrounded! With two axes and a spear, it's safe, but still...
In today's "risky business" category, meet the latest coinflippish battle. I won, although I took lots of damage. And now we see again how Cyneheard is helping his buddy Rego out. If there wasn't a copper gift, next turn by rights we'd own Church Lady. As it is, I'm pretty darned sure there is >5 hammers into a spear there, which will shut this all down. The good news is Pingo seem to be content to leave Manxome be right now, so I'm going an extra turn without garrison to get an axe in. Ought to be safe, barring double moves. Elsewhere we enjoy the fruits of being Agg/Zulu and are pumping out a few more shock impi to mess up Cyneheard. Also delaying growth a turn here as otherwise it's just an unhappy citizen for a turn. Wish I could work the silver nonstop, it does nice things to my GNP. Meanwhile, I'm praying for one more turn in the western forests, ought to be able to lock the borderland solid with the axe/impi stacked together. C'mon, Cyneheard, be passive another day... Next turn: Do we have a Church Lady spear?
