May be able to open as many as three pods next turn, more than initially expected.

I hope so. One cool thing I've been doing with my Isles is pairing them with empathy Gunboats. Isles go first at about 67% odds to try to clear blockaded pods, if they win they get about 2 exp, if they lose I can then capture a weakened Isle which will come with 2 exp.

Argh, that hurts- lost a badly wounded task force. Healing times are what's wrecking me here, my units keep getting attacked before they can finish healing.

I got double results I think because I gave both pod-popping Isles a promotion which gives better pod results.

Found Selrahc, I'll use my Unity Foil in the area to make contact with him eventually, but right now I need it to cover an elite but healing Gunboat.

Made contact with Selrahc, traded a spare Brown DNA for his Radiotropic Fungus. I don't need the extra (especially with I have enough sources nearby that I can eventually trade one to each surviving player), and he gets very little benefit from the Fungus (+1 Planet per city per turn).

Lost an Isle to pop nothing of any value. My navy is starting to really suffer, I'll eventually begin capturing reinforcements once my elite Gunboats and Isles finish healing though.

Breaking news: dumb religion founded in stupid spot. Citizens riot over +2 bonus food per turn.


Once I stabilize the happiness here & finish a bunch of specialist buildings, this city will be able to generate huge amounts of great people points.

Are we allowed to use the in-game diplomacy window for private diplomacy?

I think so. All of the no-diplo games so far have allowed resource trades. You just can't type any words. In this trade, I first offered my Iridium for his Fungus, no text just the trade. He countered with this offer.

Also met Nick, he has the same number of cities but substantially higher score. He also has substantially better land, so not much of a surprise there.
