Looking at the Vets thread, I would be supportive of either restarting on quick with 330 turns, or normal with the full 500. This is b/c T-Hawk says the game-length affects things like the inflation calculations (how fast it sets on). Given that we're not even 2 turns in yet, I think a restart has a relatively low cost of execution right now.

Commodore shipped me a fixed normal-speed (500 turn) save, so I went ahead and played that and sent it onto the tracker. Azza did you get it?
Thanks for the map setup Commodore!

(also, is there supposed to be some sort of associated webpage or something?)

Save sent, so Hydra should be on. Please let me know if I did anything wrong. First game etc.
Btw Viqsi, somehow my forwarding rules do not work properly so if you let me know here in this thread that you have played your turn in the future as well, I will react faster. (I try to solve this so that the thread won't need to be full of "wake up" messages)

... wouldn't it then be easier if you gave me the address for the end receiver at the end of your forward chain so i could set it up to send directly to that? ... personally i have a gmail account solely for civ pbems, but picks off all my three mails with a client that goes fetch two gmails (pbems and my public email) and a private email
