Yeah, we do need to mention it to the Trolls first as that was at least part of our terms with them. So I'll write up a quick message to them to tell them what Gillette has offered and that we as a team are currently discussing it.
Personally, I would like the extended NAP. It's more my fear that they would attack us before we're ready, so them "locking" themselves into something longer than what we have is perfect for me.

I think we should agree, if the Trolls are okay with it, but plan to make war as soon as the extension expires (if you are of the same mind, perhaps we should mention that to the Trolls as well).

We need to get a message sent to Gillette today, since it's nearing the end of our NAP and we need to get it extended. If they don't agree to it, that means they're going to attack us, and we're totally screwed. They get Civil Service end of this turn, they just got Colossus this turn, they'll switch to Bureaucracy (which will cause their mega capital to be a mega producer), and then shortly thereafter have Machinery for building Macemen.
I'll start writing something up this morning in a few hours....unless you get started on it before me.

Just sent the following message to Gillette. Meant to yesterday, but never got to it so wanted to quickly get something out tonight before we go another day or two without doing so.

Obviously, our response will include that we also know that there has to come some way in the future for stopping the Trolls. I suppose we may as well tell them that we also currently have a NAP with them, and may even extend it a bit since we are not wanting to be at war with anyone at the current time. Both of us could probably use a minimum of 50 more turns to build up any necessary armies for a war with the Trolls.
Not sure if we should mention that we can see that they'll be able to build Macemen shortly (ie. letting on that we can see their research) which would be useful in a fight against the Trolls.
