[spoilers] Azza Plays With Praets

Spider, Skeleton and Creeper were all razed by Impis. Zombie is in serious danger if the road connecting it to Steve is pillaged. I have just built a city to the west of Steve that has Iron, which means Praets, but it's a few turns til the Iron will be hooked up. There's no recovery from this, just make the game hell for cornflakes/Q.

Right now, I don't give a shit. This game has done nothing but fuck with me.

Oh, you're Rome? Here, have a start where you need to research 2 techs before you can improve a single food resource.

What's that? You want to build more cities? I'll put all the good locations for early cities at least 6 tiles away from your capital.

By the way, I'm going to make you build your 2nd city at least 8 tiles away from your capital if you want horses.

Copper? How bout I put it on the grassland bordering the ice up north so you have no surplus food to work it?

How bout I throw plenty of barbarians at your stretched out empire (forced by the map), so you have to build chariots to defend yourself.

And yet, despite all that, I was in a reasonable position. Not a particularly strong one, but a competitive one.


Oh what's that? Your chariots can't defend against Impis? Oh, well that's too bad. You get to be in the first half to the turn timer so you can't even whip axes to defend yourself from the imminent threats.


But the most annoying part of all, I have a neighbour who decides that the civ who is 2nd in power, with whom a natural border exists in the form of a goddamn lake, decides that I'm the best target. This game has been a constant pain in the ass.

Sigh, thanks to my brother for downloading 60gb in a 24 hour period, causing us to go over our limit, Im probably going to struggle to log in for the rest of this week. ill try to confirm this tomorrow, so if anyone is potentially able to sub let me know. Hopefully you won't be needed, but i fear it may be necessary considering how slow things are tonight.
