Chat with HAK. I've a bit hard time beliving he doesn't know about the duration of their NAP, but I might be too paranoid also. They're already violating our info sharing deal concerning the dealings with Gillette. Somehow the timings during the chat feel like he isn't truthful here. Well we'll see this soon enough.

HAK: I believe so. With the chaos off the move and everything leading up to it, I don't even recall the details anymore. THH was taking the lead there. LOL
I'll check things in more detail later when I'm not at work to verify.

I finally had a chance to log into play the turn yesterday. hadn't seen the turn itself since last week

HAK: not offhand. I'll search check our forum later. things are busy at work today with catchup stuff, so can't spend time on the forums until after work
but recollection seems to be something that was somewhat shorter than I would have liked

"Shorter than he would have liked" sounds a bit dodgy, yeah. But we'll see soon enough. I think we have until T160 with Menagerie though? That is still a ways off.

Maybe M3 signed a long NAP with Gillette based on us being the new runaways. And he just feels guilty about that, and is trying to downplay it. Doesn't necessarily mean a full dogpile is imminent.

I'll discuss with my TEAM about concrete NAP suggestion, but to initiate discussion would e.g. T180 be ok for you?

We've plans concerning that island. Actually we've settled there few turns ago.

Is T180 ok or do you suggest shorter/longer ones?

Well, that's boring.

T180 is fine, I guess? I really have no feel for what the situation will be then. We could also go for some kind of rolling NAP, to save ourselves some paranoia with constant renegotiations.

If we NAP up on both sides I guess we'll have to race to Astronomy. The other option is trying to smack TEAM around a bit. Not sure how fruitful that would be. We probably want to focus on getting OU up and running, now, rather than building up our military.

Side note: I like the way you capitalized TEAM.

Concerning the "boring" comment, I agree. If we manage to negotiate NAP that long I think we've this game pretty much won. We should manage against Tasunke easily enough in case he decides to attack solo. I'm also ok trying to keep it more exciting and not agree to this NAP. Btw. There is also a chance they're just fooling us to make us less prepared for war so we should continue our preparations.

I do think we should take a NAP on one front if we can get it. If we want excitement we can always go on the attack. If we get a NAP with Gillette, we can get OU and Paya while in OR, and then do 6 rounds of theocratic drafting right before the NAP with TEAM expires. Matching that buildup will be costly for TEAM, even if we don't attack.
