I feel like I'm becalmed. Not quite sure what to do from here. I've whipped pretty heavily, and have a GPP coming up in Dill inside 10 turns. I land Mausoleum and fire the GA as I finish researching Bureacracy. Sounds solid, but then what? How to win? I haven't really made any decisions in that point yet...

Landed MoM. Spam out some more cities then grow vertical as I barrel towards my one-person GA. Found some good islands. So now the question is, what will my neighbors: Fintourist & Viqsi, be doing about it?

Bureaucracy due in a couple of turns in front of the Great Person. Worth doing the single revolt I wonder? Probably.

Capital plan is to whip an aqueduct for max overflow into the Hanging Gardens. Purely oportunistic. Happy w/ Failgold on it too.

Looks like I'll have my Great Person in hand about 7 - 8 turns from now, but Bureaucracy next turn. I think the 1-turn revolt is just something I'll have to eat then. The Bureaucracy hammer bonus will also aid in landing HG with at least 10 cities. Sounds pretty good to me.

Only problem with Pyramids immediately is that it puts GLighthouse, Shrine, and Pyramids all in one coastal place. So the rest of my game would be about securing that sea and riding the advantage. I could spend a turn walking to put the Pyramids in my inland Capital instead ... but that delays everything by a turn. I think at this point, since the next GPP at max points will take 12 turns, that it is prudent to let it take 13 instead by double-revolting to Bureaucracy / Representation. I swear guys, normally my swaps are better synched with my GAs, honest!

Alternatively, whoever was building 'mids saw the great engineer pop and whipped it, in which case this is a moot point .

Done did it.

Fintourist has ~800 gold stockpiled. WTH? Finished Construction and Rushed Mids. Next turn double-revolt Representation & Bureacracy and then just step on the expansion gas while building cats, ships & teching knights.

Viqsi beat me to HG, so I cash in 144 hammers of failgold instead. That's 2 turns of research, sound like philosophy eh?

I've been saving gold the last couple of turns while keeping science on 10% and backfilling hunting & archery. With Feudalism already in, I figured being able to whip out longbows was a worthy exercise. Also not having to wait another turn for pikes if I really need them at some point was a plus as well.

You may have read somewhere else that we've played T115 and it's now 1 AD. These are lies and slander.

I launched a golden age on T122 and swapped into Caste and Pacifism. Aiming to Lib Nationalism and then backfill while drafting for defense and building Taj Mahal and following that with my 2 person golden age to get to rifles and astronomy/chemistry boats in front of Fintourist, then kill him (neighbor + rival -> other neighbor unlikely to intervene and his neighbor (azza) likely to jump on him as well).

But... to do that we're entering into a highly vulnerable time where for 5 turns I don't have my whip. I am laying down workshops and with the GA am #1 in GNP & Production.
