I think you have your east/west mixed up, but yeah if you fix your east/west those would make better use of the resources (and still allow you to settle another city for the fish). But this is a long way out so you'll have plenty of time to plan this more when you get closer smile

I tend to mix up east and west a lot. I dunno why.

The stench in the air, the smell of the turn, the Scouting far greater than any befoooooooooooooore!

Not much interesting. Wonder if they have a lot of desert.

(Forgot to turn resource indicators on, but there is a Clams right next to the grassland/desert area)

Worker does pre-chopping, not much else to say.

Someone (I think it be Tyrants Boldly Bricking?) has a Size 4 cap now, Krill founded a city.

Demographics, no Will.i.am graph changes.

...Actually, duh, the Size 4 cap has to be either Suttree or Retep, because they are the only ones who had their score go up this turn. Judging from the fact Retep has a city out, I'd wager Suttree is the one with it, unless 48000 is the pop # for Size 4? (In which case Retep does due to highest pop being 49000, indicating a second Size 1 city)

Population by city size:
Size 1: 1000
Size 2: 6000
Size 3: 21000
Size 4: 48000
Size 5: 90000

That's what I remember. There's a formula, but I don't remember it.
I have to run.

I see. In that case, Retep must have the city size.

Also, I remember a bit of the formula It's something like current size + past size or the past two sizes or something (For example Size 4 = 48000 = 21000 + 27000 which is 21000 + 600, Size 3 + Size 2). I should just look it up tomorrow or something.

We're offically last in score! That'll only last for a few turns, though.

6/2/13 2:19 pm Azza Score increased to 72
6/2/13 2:19 pm WilliamLP Score increased to 70
6/2/13 2:19 pm Boldly Going Nowhere Score increased to 85
6/2/13 2:19 pm Sisu Score increased to 74
6/2/13 2:19 pm Kurumi Score increased to 72

EOT score increases.

Corn in Sam Walton is done. I figure he will road back to the capital just in case: Thoughts? That way he can road through a forest we will chop and have our cities more easily defended. Speaking of Walton, it will grow in 2T: Will switch to a WB next turn and then whip it the turn after, as soon as it grows, then WB up Walton's clams. Standard Oil will grow next turn: It'll work the Deer as previously stated. It'll be a while before the Scout discovers new tiles.

WilliamLP's score went up, but the graphs have yet to update (This can be proven by going to the Score graph: It is still a flat line). Will take pics next turn.

Hey BaII, just as a note, I might lost electricity for a bit at my house: It shouldn't be too much of an issue since if it is a persisted problem I will go live w/ someone else or use the library for a bit and play on my laptop (Which IIRC can run Civ, albeit slowly), but if the timer gets down to about half or we're the last one to play and I haven't, you mind grabbing the turn for me?

The last forest is now Pre-Chopped: Since we ended up not going with Pottery ASAP, I am going to road the hills so that we can get to them faster to chop them for TGL. Plus, it'll jumpstart us on a good road network, which is key for defense.

Worker #2 also starts on a road @ the Corn and will road back to the capital, roading the pre-chopped hill along the way. I've pre-chopped every forest and marked them pre-chopped.

Sam Walton swapped to a WB: I plan to whip it next turn, since it'll grow EOT, then WB the Clams there. Corn will let it regrow fast.

Standard Oil grew this turn and will grow again in 2T: Warrior will complete in 1T. We will send the Warrior up to the copper spot to scout for seafood, whip out a Settler ASAP when we hit Size 4 for said copper spot, which will give us 3 cities and defensive copper while we move up to get TGL.

You know what this post doesn't have enough of? IMAGES! Let's get some Graphs in here!

KK i'm starting to get slightly worried now, it looks like he got Archery as a tech not Bronze Working, We most likely want a sentry out to make sure he doesn't choke us with archers. Also Crop Yield is pretty much the key indicator on who is doing well in the early going, as we can turn that pop into hammers, and GNP is so heavily influenced by other factors.

Sam Walton should be going for the Warrior after the WB whip, so we can use that as a sentry.

Think there's any chance they have no copper? Or do you think Commodore wouldn't do that?

I don't think they teched Archery. Archery makes your power go up, right? But his power looks like it didn't go up. Unless you mean he got Archery before BW earlier...

Archery only gives 6k soldier points to BW's 8k. But he had the same jump that we did in power. I don't see how it could be Archery (An Archer is 3k Soldier Points and a Warrior is 1k, so...)

The power increase is actually 6k, not 8k so likely he discovered archery. We may need to put TGH on hold to get the 3rd city settled for the copper and get out some axes, if he gets a few archers.

We'll get the third city out before Sailing finishes (By whip). I'd rather whip Sam Walton for Axes than delay TGL: If TGL is so important to us winning, then we need to assume it's boom or bust, especially after we diverted research into it.

At the least, it doesn't look like they've made any Archers yet (I could be wrong), so we've got some time until he does so at least if he does. Let's carefully watch the Power chart.

Turn started, capital finished it's Warrior, which I am heading up to the copper, due to the fact that starting next turn (When Standard Oil grows) we're going to be starting on a Settler which will be swiftly whipped: So it needs protection. Settler overflow will go into a Warrior, plus I can basically produce one really fast anyway if it was NEEDED and we can see anything coming to us very quickly to switch to a Warrior.

Scouting is interesting today. That single-tileness makes me think Maze or Ring or something, but we'll have to see if it continues first.

Sam Walton whipped it's WB: Will regrow in 3T. Both Workers finish up their roads, the Worker at our capital roading forest tiles for chopping, Worker @ Walton farming the Corn on it's quest to start roading back to the city (And through one of the forests).

Also, confirmed WilliamLP has BW simply by checking something very simple that I forgot too.

Looking at the Game Log (I should check that more) also shows that he adopted it 2T ago, which is consistant with him getting a mid turn score increase last turn: He founded his second city then and switched to Slavery en route. This also means he did not found his city anywhere visible to us, quite possibly away from us. Also of note: Apparantly Stonehenge was BIAFDL 2T ago! Fortunately, it is easy to check via CivStats that it had to be Tyrants Boldly Bricking, due to the fact that their score jumped up from 69 to 85 on that turn, which is also consistant with having Industrious and Charismatic. This also means I may have been wrong and they do not have a second city and instead Stonehenge was why they had a high score. Charismatic 'Henge is really nice and the map seems happy-light so far, so that's a nice boon for those guys.

No Graph changes, but I wanted to show something fun:
