Good point. I assume most cities would be whipping off cottage or lake tiles. That sugar looks like a good early city site to the north - I guess a lot depends on where copper/horse appears.

Calendar before Currency is already looking like the right move, especially if we find more calendar luxes
I logged into the game to take a stab at fog reading. Also, I went ahead and named our civ "Galactic Empire" and then immediately realized the misunderstandings that would cause. As you can see, I took some preemptive measures
Feel free to change it back. You know, if we built the Moai and HE at the capital we could make 24 base hpt, 56 hpt modified, at size 13 and still split off the wheat and sheep to other cities. And once the workshop spam era commences, we could get up to 40-50 base hpt.
Whoever logs into the game next can delete all of the signs, I just forgot to. I think Trantor should be the capital's name unless there are any objections.

Whatever, I like signs. I'll probably try to convince you to spec out the whole worker micro plan with signs.

And, ya, calendar + market should be enough to get a good commerce city off the ground and maybe give us a shot at the Mausoleum.

Right now looks like other teams are doing exactly that we must kill them

I don't think any one is, you have to do it every time someone plays to use "Rival Average" to divine the latest team's demos.
Looks like there's a resource on the hill the scout is on. If we're extremely lucky, it'll be copper. More likely coal or uranium.

If this is going to be a super-peaceful game, you know what would be fun.... calendar->alphabet->currency->CoL timed with a scientist to bulb philosophy, then launch a MoM driven golden age in pacifism ASAP to bulb Metal Working, Monarchy, Civil Service, and build an academy.
File under crazy speculation totally useless without seeing the map.

HBHR, I give up. I got nothing beyond celestial bodies.
Yes, they are celestial bodies, but, in what universe?
I'm a bit late to the game but
