I also spotted that Mostly_harmless has Alphabet and offered him map trade+OB. Hopefully he takes that. I could do with just 2 off shore cities for now, if he does.

MoM has also added benefit that the borders of Varying will pop in 9T so that I don't need to settle urgently the silver city and can take the cows+rice site in the north.

Based on demographics I appear quite average. I mainly concerned about Crop yield i.e. many teams are expanding well to decent land. My GNP will be competitive after Currency and couple of off shore cities so I'm not too worried about that.

techwise Currency next and focus on filling up the land. Then I'm not sure. I probably had to do something to improve my happy cap. I've silver and gold and there are gems in the north that I potentially could grab so it could be Metal casting. Construction is also possibility. It unlocks Maya UB and catapults could also prove useful. Monarchy could also be useful at some point, but not urgent at the moment.

Aesthetics-Polytheism-Literature should also be scheduled at some point to get Epics up and see, if I've a shot at Music Artist.

Mostly_harmless didn't Open borders or give me map trade frown.

How were you able to tell that someone has control over the ivory? I tried mousing over several resources in the fog in PB 14 (both those that I knew were under cultural control by others and those that I knew were not) and they didn't seem to give me a difference.

It doesn't say requires camp in the low-left corner "tooltip". Also jungle has disappeared that was there couple of turns ago and clams have been netted.
