I think I missed one turn report but little actually happened in it. I corrected my previous error and saved up some gold so I could research at 100% rather than 90.
Here's the domestics. I finish the warrior in the capital next turn. Unfortunately, for the excitable l'il blighter he won't be able to go a-rovin'. He's got the delightful job of keeping the population happy. Or at least forcing them to put on a happy face when out in public.
The interesting thing in this screenshot is that island is still looking islandy. This could still be a trick, as there are a hell of a lot of lakes on this map. But if it is an island, some early intercontinental trade routes looks a sweet deal. I don't even have to hack out jungle for it.
Here's a more interesting screenshot. I've met Azza, he sent his warrior out to meet me, but being the shy sort I decided to step around him. I assume he'll move onto the forest this turn, I'll move my scout under him so he can't declare war and kill me instantly. I have peaceable intentions, but I don't want my scout to die.
More longterm, I'm hoping that this is Azza's second city, because it is very close to BaII and if that's his capital I might have to worry more about people settling in my jungle. On the otherhand if it is his second city he's had it at least five turns because borders seem to have popped. So my slow start still seems slow

. I'll be interested to see if Azza does actually pinkdot there. It wouldn't exactly be out of character for the man from down under.
To conclude demographics screens are pretty dull at this point, but I am joint first in crop yield. Hooray for me.
