Finally got to log into the game. This is what I saw:

I had a mace and an archer defending the city. He attacked with a CR3 gren from the Galleon, killed a mace. After that he tried to attack with an immortal which got killed by an archer. Then, I think, he moved four knights in a position to attack next turn.
Also, he did this:

There is a lightly wounded pinch gren in Brasil and he also has another pinch gren moving towards Tir na nog.
Well, what can I do? First and foremost I need to upgrade this archer to a gren. He will be able to kill one of the knights next turn which may turn out to be important. But - I don't have enough cash to upgrade. Am I completely fucked? Actually, no.
I decided to check what are my chances in operation Lacrimosa:

Well, objectively you have just witnesses one of the most importnat events in this game but subjectively it seemed trivial. I only knew that I now have money to upgrade an archer into a gren in Aztlan which I proceeded to do. Now I had an option to keep this city: all I had to do is to ferry a musket from Tir na Nog. However, it will make possible for Zanth to just walk inside Tir na nog. So, I had to choose between two cities.
In the end I decided to sacrifice Aztlan. Tir na Nog has a library which will be destroyed and a Gren completing next turn; on the other hand, Aztlan connects my silks and losing them will be a serious happiness hit for my empire. However, I decided that I can live with this. Also, I offered white peace to Furj, I think he accepts it and my problems with happiness will be resolved.
Next turn I will drop two Cuirs and a knight near Aztlan and also will position four grens and a Cuirs for an amphibious attack. Turn after next I should take Aztlan back. After that I will reevaluate. On one hand, the longer I delay the war with Bacchus, the more is the danger that he would beat me to destroyers. On the other hand - my victorious fleet is coming back from Netherlands. In a few turns I can drop something like 20 units on a tile SE of Zenda. And Zenda is a good city to keep, you know.
