Looks well placed to me then, I'd keep it. Generally I'll keep a barb city if it doesn't actually cost me resources.

They can aid after that in the attack on Gettysburg.
If we manage to raze that, India only has only one, maybe two cities left.

All talking from a positive point of view of course... things will be bit more difficult, I pressume...

K,

Kalin and I had a great chat and I let him in on my plan wink. Some minor tweaks but we've decided to keep the barb city. Here it is firstly:

Now our plan. Wes the chariot beside the barb axe in the picture might die. If not wonderful but if he does we'll retreat our warrior Bo Shek. We have Hobbie and Dack (our 2 most experienced chariots) coming back from Istanbul and will be able to protect Endor, relieve the site of any wandering barbs. The other remains of the Istanbul Army are headed towards Greece to be gifted to Greece for the upcoming CoW attack. Ideally the gifts take place on the same turn we build a unit to help disguise it in our graph.

We also have an HA (Wyron Serper) 1W of the Hindu Holy City (Dina). He will head towards barb city to help take it down along with Dack and Hobbie. Hobbie is currently 7/10 xp so hopefully he can get to 10xp. The plan is to take the city asap and keep it. Lurker note I was originally for razing it but I was talked into keeping it. smile

Endor will produce a worker next turn to be named Wicket. Wicket will head straight for Istanbul to road the connection there, chop a granary and improve the city. RA-7 completed a chop this turn, will put 1T of road into a tile and then start farming an unirrigated rice on T85. I think it will complete T89. Endor will then complete the Library and from there not sure yet. As it won't have another decent tile, maybe another worker. We will see.

Kashyyyk will produce a worker next turn to be named R2-D2. R2-D2 will move to the grass/hill 1S/1SW of Coruscant. He will road T85 & T86. Owen who is 1S of Coruscant will complete his road on T84, cottage on T85 and after R2-D2 completes his road will move 2SW and begin road on T86. Coruscant will double whip the settler on T86 for max overflow.

The settler will move to 2E of rice being farmed by RA-7 on T87 (after Owen completes his road). R2-D2 will complete the cottage Owen had started 1S of Coruscant. Coruscant will complete it's library and then a workboat to help circumnavigate N/S. Kashyyyk will complete it's worker (R2-D2) and then start a HA we need for CoW (should have lots of overflow from worker and +10H/turn) done pretty quickly. After the HA will start a galley to circumnavigate E/W and for a potential 2nd wave attack with CoW via galley.

Confused anybody? So by T90 we should have 6 cities, and have our units almost ready for CoW. Questions? I'll try and do screenshots/overview once we have all the cities but it might wait until T100 when everybody will hopefully do one.

PS. Oh and great people. We plan to let the Oracle do it's job to get a priest as that will probably be our only chance to get one. We're then going to use a future city to get a GS. So it'll be a long while before you see any of that from us.

P.SS. We're at 19/30 for our first GG. Does killing barbs make that go up? I'm under the impression no.

A couple of comments:

* Barbs don't make GG points go up.

* We need to let the barb city grow to size 2 before taking it, otherwise it will auto-raze.

* I think 1 chariot and the HA are enough to get the barb city. Should we send the 4/5 XP chariot to Greece too?

* To create more confusion, we should tell Jowy to rename our units.

We need to work out a plan to make sure our troops can arrive on time.
