The above is the briefest of brief update. I am obviously building coin for the run to cannons. I don't have enough $ to complete it so the science slider will need to be adjusted during the last few turns. Some cities have cats in the production queue ... don't finish any until after Steel is in  . Arlington is the new location for my Heroic Epic ... hence the rifle build. I am also farming some towns there - leave them as towns until Steel is finished and then complete the farm.
Main aim is to not be a complete push over. Give ground to draw the attackers in and then hurt them as much as possible.
If anything untoward comes up ... do what you thing is best. Feel free to quote (and requote) this line if anyone complains.

Understood, I'll be sure to log in starting Saturday. I probably will raze outlying coastal towns like Marblehead if I can - no way to defend them and it gives attackers a tile with cultural control for them to attack from.

Forgot to mention but I am in a turn split with Krill who is in a turn split with BGN. The order is ...
Me --> Krill --> BGN
So try and play the turns as early in the clock as possible.

No problem, wanted to make sure I played the turn before I forgot.
Nothing of interest happened; put a turn into a few farms to replace the cottages once Steel pops, set Arlington to make more Minutemen, and handed out a few CG1/Guerilla 2 promotions where appropriate.
BGN has a few Galleons/Frigates (along with 'somebody's Privateer) poking around the southern coast. There's one tile at the south edge of the map that isn't in our borders - close enough to get at our cities in 1-2 turns.

Good to hear - and good luck against your foes.
Last turn (212) I asked Finharry for a 1000-gold loan; I actually should have done this earlier as Steel could have completed a turn earlier with 100% Science slider, but it can still finance unit upgrades. Other than that, nothing of note happened.

BGN began his assault last turn. All of our cities on the southern seaboard have been taken, plus Wompatrick which was captured by Commando Infantry. Lynn and Marblehead have once again been conquered - this time, we won't be getting them back. He did leave a few infantry hanging around outside our cities; I killed them with Cannon+Minutemen attacks, not that the loss of a few Infantry will have any bearing on the outcome of this conflict.
Against our meagre force of Minutemen and Cannons, Russia fields quadruple-promoted Infantry supported by Artillery, Cossacks and a few Commando units. Even more terrifying is their air force: at least a dozen Bombers swarm in the skies above all three fronts - east, south and north. Against this kind of might, defence becomes impossible. The end is near.
...But hey, at least we got peace with Krill!

Ouch. Sounds like the turn that I was expecting about 30 turns ago. I am really pissed that I missed it. I'm back Sunday night. I guess we pull everything back and have a single last hooray at some stage.
Krill IM'd me about the mass fo BGN troops last turn. I had played the turn quickly and completely missed them. Logged back in and saw the mass.
Re border cities - I noted that you send some units down that way. I pulled them back last turn as they wouldn't do anything against the masses against us ... decided to centralize them for the last battle.
I am actually looking forward to the end ... so that I can look over some other civs.
So ... dead in 5 turns? If so, we aim to survive 6!
