[spoilers] - Pindicator makes America great again!

Just got done from skiing for the first time. I'm exhausted but I'll try to take a stab at it. But I don't think the rice changes anything - if anything it seems like the rice/clam would be an acceptable 2nd city.

So I tally:

AGG - 2
CHM - 1
CRE - 3
EXP -2
FIN - 1
IMP - 3
IND - 0
ORG - 0
PHI - 2
PRO - 2
SPI - 0

Key to note that nobody is IND. Any wonders we may want to target?

I had the same thought about that being a possible second city.

Wonders: Henge was my immediate thought when I saw 0 Ind. It would go nicely with our poor man's BtS Joao leader.

On the flip side, stone may not be balanced in this game, so we could potentially just straight lose out if we don't have any nearby. May need to wait to see if we find that or marble.

Longer term, GLH may work well if this is water heavy, which it kinda looks that way at first glance. Combine that with our cheap custom houses, and it's a nice combo.

I can't figure out a way planting 2S comes anywhere near the sugar plant start. The best I've been able to do is settler EoT32 with 1 worker and netted clams. If you want me to just go ahead and move the settler 1W, let me know.

No, I don't think it would. Dry rice is just the same as farmed sugar, so go ahead and move the settler 1W.

Is that your way of telling us you removed the sugar? For shame Xenu, for shame.

I think Stonehenge could make a very nice addition, scooter. With 3 CRE and Inca it may be that we only need to compete with half the field for it. Agg/Imp Zulu may opt for ikhandas as well. When I get home I'll have to sim how fast we can get it. But it does mean adding Mysticism to our tech list, and would we really want that before teching Hunting and Pottery?

Well, the news isn't great.

That's pretty ugly. To make things worse, the tile bleeding.

This may be rough enough to force a reconsideration. It's such a bad capital even medium-term, and the awkward placement 1 tile off the coast is potentially disastrous if there's seafood over there. What's your thoughts?

On another note - the hill clumping reminds me of Tectonics which I haven't seen in forever. Those are usually pretty tough maps. Civstats calls this Archipelago, though, which also seems believable.
