There will be certain tiles marked on the map, and you can claim/capture/control these tiles by expanding your culture onto them. At certain turns in the game (turns 5, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 200, 300), you are encouraged to post an overview shot of your civ (yes, an ulterior motive revealed!) and count up the number of marked tiles you control. A leaderboard tally, of how many such tiles each player controls, will be posted in the tech thread (or maybe its own thread) shortly after each aforementioned turn number for all to see. That's why I said that it would be good for a non-map-trading game, as here's a little info you can get without trading maps.
It is supposed to just be for fun and bragging rights; shouldn't affect the main competitive aspect game at all. You can even opt-out by not posting your total, I guess. That wasn't actually the one I was going for--I was thinking the no resources/isolated start game

Am I correct in thinking that city trades for peace, yes to Joey and PB27 method plus keeping half combos win ? I'm also assuming see start before picking.
Can someone roll the first bunch of leaders and civs ?

Question: If I lock in one half of the combo for the first re-roll, can I decide to change that half on the second re-roll?
E.g. I get a leader that I kind-of like, but a Civ I don't. Re-roll 1 I keep the leader and get a new civ. I really like the new civ, but it doesn't work with the kept Leader. Can I use the second re-roll to change that Leader, or could I only spin the wheel on the civ again?

I hadn't thought of that. I'm inclined to say yes.

I don't see why not.

I'd be ok with that.
