No specific map information was revealed, just the general direction of the signposts. With the map being a toroid I don't think it is a spoiler to say the signposts surround my start in every direction with apparently varying distances.

OK, I restarted the game again. Hopefully that's all the restarts we need here. I think we have Jowy's correct starting techs and BGN's unwanted sign and color changed. Clock is at 100 hours again (don't use it...!), set to 22 hours for next turn.

FWIW, PB28 had the clock set at 24hrs (or maybe 26hrs) to give a little bit more flexibility to those with limited play windows. Particularly in the early war turnsplits it did mean that we (mostly) avoided needing to pause for things like "I'm out with the wife tonight, won't play until a few hours later than normal" delays. I don't think we saw any negative consequences of it....

EDIT: also, I'm out with the Wife tonight, so won't be able to play until later than usual...

Hey folks, it looks like we have a pretty big map issue that needs to be addressed. I'm going to get a corrected map to xenu and CFCJester for another restart. Sorry to delay like this, but I figure it's better to get this now before the first turn has even passed by.
