[SPOILERS] Willem of Portugal (Dantski + Mukha)

Did you have a lot of overflow going to waste with that buildless turn?
I have to run.

It's pretty hard to waste overflow I think. Only way I know of is to have more overflow hammers than the cost of the building/unit. Anarchy/working commerce/culture/research or not building anything at all just delays overflow.

Some interesting news, in the race to declare insolvency we are winning by miles.

Research is down to 70% at break even, so we have at least a 30% headstart on other teams. We're probably going to employ binary research at some point, after I figure out how.

Also, as a result of market research, word of mouth reviews and just plain envy Cath Bruig tour operators have put together a Preliminary Package Tour.

Highlights include:
Sightseeing Stonehenge
Prospective tourists may also be treated to sights of The Oracle and The Kashi Vishwanath (itinerary still to be confirmed but suspicions are high)
Meals are all inclusive and provided by workers renowned for their speed. Let's just hope it's irrigated corn.

Arrival at this location:

is set at around Turn 65-70. Preliminary Tour details are already proving popular with the axe wielding, spear carrying, chariot riding demographic.

Llancarfan grew to size 2 this turn and switched to worker, Madrigal is also building a worker. AH is due in 8 turns when alternating between 100% and 0% research.

1st warrior is heading a little way along the north river to find more juicy settling spots then will head out into the little known SW. 2nd warrior is playing zone defence 2 tiles away from both cities.

Muk has been busy in excel with worker / build plans so he can post that if he likes bow

p.s. Muk also registered his disgust at Dreylin not playing 2 turns in a row when turn rolled over

It's tempting, then I wouldn't need to bother updating thread. But I want to keep it a surprise. For you included.

I will say that we expect to have 4 workers total in 7 turns time. They'll be busy pasturing as we revolt to slavery and whip more settlers.

They've played now, so we can issue the recall code on our turn enforcer troops.

Had a chat with Krill in game but I won't bother pasting it here as he has 235 posts in his thread so he must be posting screenshots of his units sneezing. Either that or strategizing, but who bothers with that?

Wtf Danstki? I changed research to binary before I ended turn/logged out. Did you change it back to break even? We could have had AH 1 turn earlier. It was 9 turns at break even last turn or 2 turns at 0% with +11 gp a turn and 6 turns at 100% 14bpt and now it's 8 turns either way.

Ok, I'm not sure but maybe we can still salvage it. There's a rounding error in our favour at 0%, 50% and 100%. We have 1gp in the bank atm, we get 11gpt at 0% and lose 3gpt at 100%. At this moment we need 6 turns of 100% research. Maybe, hopefully we can do a turn of 0% research now to give us 12gpt and a turn of 50% research (+4gpt) to give us 16 in the bank. It should then be only 5 turns of research at 100% so all up 7 turns. So I'm setting research to 0% now, don't forget to set it to 50% next turn and then 100% after.

Do I win something for correctly identifying the mole on our team? I thought we banned active espionage missions.

Edit: Actually, I really should say at everything other than 0%, 50%, 100% there's a rounding error against us.

Yeah, I know we don't update very often. At this point in time we have actually provided more information about our civ to Krill than to our lurkers.

Unfortunately my scout has headed eastwards, so I can't really backtrack to meet him. Thank you though, for the thoughts smile

On a related note, would you be interested in exchanging world maps? If you agree, could you send me screenshots of your map at 1280*720, zoomed out as far as possible before the clouds appear, and I'll create a composite world map for both of us.

Thanks in advance,

Krill

So we told him exactly where our copper is, how many spears we were planning to build and marked the best routes for his war chariots on the screenshot as requested.

Dantski has been busy collating votes in the technical issues thread on our request for a reload. I think our gameplan is just to work our way down the list of those who voted against it. We actually weren't bothered by the decision and expected it, but when the war crimes trials start after our attempts at genocide it's nice to have some provoking action to point to in our defence.

I second that.

About the reload, if no overflow is lost, did it even matter that you hadn't selected a build for one turn? Was it just a ploy to compose your hit list? tongue
