I'm wondering if it's better to send him to the grassland hill NW or SW through the jungle. We have a lot of turns before the settler arrives (I'm in favor of chop/whipping it at size 2).

I would gamble and send him to the grass hill NW first. Not likely to find anything awesome, but there is a chance - and if there's something awesome up there, we'd like to know before our settler comes out, since it might affect the western part of the dotmap. In contrast, the SW, although something we need to know soonish, doesn't have to be pre-settler.

Actually, strike that. Can't we see the same foggy tiles from the jungled grass hill 3W1S? Not nearly as much of a detour, but still gets us the info we need.

There's one tile that would be in the grassland hill's BFC that we won't see by going to that jugled hill, the one west of the highlighted tile.

Ah, ok. It'll only cost us one extra turn to go to the flat grass instead (1NE of Yeti) so I think that's worth it to check for fish.

And here we have the annoying bit about Pitboss: Jowy missed a turn and we won't reload because of reasons. I can't even honestly gloat, because outside of the actual game Jowy seems like a nice guy. Inside, he's a genocidal maniac, of course, but so are a lot of players .

Well...as a silver lining, any grudges won't involve us. But I would definitely support increasing the turn timer by a couple hours.
