[Lurkers] WW #43 - The Great Wheel

Well played Prometheus, it was a tough first game

Yep, GG Prometheus. I honestly thought that you were going to survive there at the end vs. Rowain. You did a good job on Day 1 especially of not really drawing any attention to yourself. I had practically no read on you then. I suppose I ought to take a few pointers from you on that aspect of your play, seeing as I always seem to make the discussion about me in some fashion by the end of Day 1, mostly to my detriment....

Well i guess zak was hiding behind me, seems a risky spot to hide

So zak posted he thought Rowain was pretty high on his villager list, and rowain was going to get heat today, so my guess is he hid behind rowain to try and clear him

I am not going to spoil anything just yet. But this is a classic for sure. Great game.
If you know what I mean.

You target someone who won't be night killed. Either you clear them as town, or you die and catch them as mafia. Just make sure to leave a hint at who you'll check.
The drawback mostly comes in play if you share a target with a town vigi. Which can suck, but at the same time, by being a hider you prevent any town deaths targeted directly at you.

Yep, it's like a weak cop + commuter. Pretty strong.

Doh forgot if rowain is telling the truth you would die if you hid behind him, and if he was lying you would die if you hid behind him.

Novice then?

GG Zak and Jkaen. You did good work setting up town for a victory. I feel like the remaining townies are getting close to finding each other. Because of you, Jkaen, scum couldn't take out Fenn or Gaz instead. They had to attend to you first. That has left scum with two 99%-confirmed townies that are solid with each other. A vig and a cop...if I were scum, I'd be sweating about which one to try to nightkill tomorrow night. Leaving either one alive could be disastrous for scum.

I feel like, for town to lose now, they have to shoot themselves in the foot somehow. Sadly, it looks like there are a couple of ways they could do that:
1. Rowain could attract more attention to himself today, get hisself lynched for real this time, and end up being town.
2. People could read too much into Zak's hider role and project their own ideas onto Zak and envision him doing something a little too clever with his N2 hider target, which could lead town astray, thinking that Zak's next logical hiding target must be scum. Maybe this is just me being newbie and having more of a "survivalist" attitude as town, but if I were hider in Zak's position, I'd just have hid behind Jkaen on N2 to have the best odds of not hiding behind scum, instead of using my power to try to clear a more questionable player. Yes, Jkaen was a logical nightkill target...so that was a risk, but so were Gazglum and Fenn (especially Fenn. Even if scum thought that he was an SK vig, they'd still want to get rid of him). If I were still alive, I'd tell town to just KISS right now--keep things simple stupid.
