I did not whip the Granary in LN...after looking at it a bit it just didn't make sense unless we got Krill's Gold, and that is starting to seem unlikely.
I did not whip HH as discussed, but I juggled the queue order. Granary in 2, growth in 3 as sunrise pointed out, but 16 turns of unhappy to work off. So Fast Worker next there. If we get Krill's gold, then we let it grow one more, otherwise, just keep building Fast Workers.
I put the overflow at KT into a Fast Worker...next turn I think we go back to the Warrior (half done almost) while growing to size 2, then finish the Fast Worker with our EXP bonus.
I also switched research to Metal Casting. I think we should go there next even though it is a long way off right now. No one else in CAN has claimed it, and it enables our half cost building. At 1 beaker/turn, it is due in 810 turns . Our economy is pretty much crashed right now. We are making 2 gold/turn at 0% research. That should quickly improve though.
@sunrise - I also moved Bud Light/Coors SW one tile, hope you don't mind .

Chat with Yaz last night
Quote:Yaz: Why must we always be enemies? :P
49 minutes
8:49 PM me: so you're taking over for exploit?
Yaz: yeah. apparently he didn't want to take the whipping he set up for himself
8:50 PM me: well guess you're even then
since he took the whipping you set up for him in pb1 :-D
Yaz: haha well I don't think I left him in that bad of position :P
8:51 PM So wanna be friends? You give me back my city and maybe I rename a street or something after you? :D
8:52 PM me: heh
i think darrell has an email for youo
8:53 PM Yaz: yeah he mentioned he might be proposing something but needed team approval first.
Should be interesting
8:54 PM me: guess you have a decision to make too
how invested do you want to be in this game
i mean you're a replacement player
not much invested in the game
how much do you really want to put into it, ya know?
Yaz: Well that's not true, I did make an email account for it already so that's an investment...
Yeah true.
8:55 PM I'll have to see what you propose. If it's not enough room for me to make anything of the civ then there's not much point.
That said I don't mind playing a civ that's no necessarily a leader but at least has a role.
8:56 PM me: i could see definite roles for you where you played as kind of sidekicks to us
but you're probably not really interested in that
but i guarantee we could make it fun
8:57 PM Yaz: Well just make that proposal juicy enough. I think we can both agree at this point in the game at least I'm probably of more use to you alive then dead.
8:58 PM I already got to take over a leading civ in rbp1, taking over a losing one and seeing what can happen could be an interesting change.
Plus it would be nice to show exploit how to play the game
8:59 PM me: we'll probably send something out tonight or early tomorrow
did we take your city?
Yaz: yeah
I mean no, I gifted it to you violently.
So don't forget to consider that gift in your proposal
9:02 PM Anyways I look forward to seeing the proposal, time for bed for me though. Early workday tomorrow. I'm going to leave the game paused for right now as I still need to make plan before this gets going but will unpause tomorrow morning before work.

Okay email sent to Yaz, copy to Byz and Maya (after talking about things with Portugal, darrell and I decided to not copy Rome)
Quote:Hey Yaz (copy to Maya and Byzantium)
It has become clear to us that for some time your civ (under previous leadership) has been sabotaging our diplomatic relations with multiple civilizations with lies and half truths, eventually leading to the razing of our city of T-Shirt Contest. We have decided to take action. We were initially going to demand a Settler from you as compensation for the loss of T-shirt contest, however we decided that punitive damages were also in order. We have therefore taken Bison Burgers.
It has come to our attention that you have undergone a change in leadership. We wonder if this might mean our two civs have a future together after all? We offer the following...please consider promptly as we will not leash the dogs of war during negotiations:
1. Sumeria gives India a settler to replace T-shirt contest in the next 10 turns.
2. Sumeria and India sign a NAP until turn 150. The NAP has the standard clauses of no war, no active espionage, no gifting units to hostile parties or ROP for hostile armies.
3. Sumeria and India enter a border agreement. Sumeria gets their proposed third city location that I believe is 3NW of Karaoke Tuesday (would need to check the map but we believe that's where Exploit was planning on settling). No other cities to the east or south of Bison Burgers may be settled without consent from India. India may not settle to the west of Bison Burgers.
4. We sign open borders with each other.
5. As a token of our desire to restart relations, we will gift you Mysticism and Masonry in exchange for your agreement to not trade Hunting to anyone. Your people have been deprived of culture for too long.
PARTY ON?

Email sent to Ottomans
Quote:Hey there,
Good to talk to you. We've had quite a whirlwind few days, especially with regoarrarr out of town, who is clearly the most awesome and important member of this team (or.... maaaaaybe just the person writing this email currently :-D) You're right that we should be continuing to talk and keep in touch. As you've no doubt figured out, trying to do diplo with 17 civs is craaaazy!
So as you have probably seen, we have taken one of Exploit's cities. We are going max gold, though unfortunately with our war that isn't so maxy . It appears our contributions to CAN, at least for the immediate short-term, will be militarily based. Thank you for your ETA on IW - clearing out the silver at our capital will definitely improve our commerce!
It's amusing that now all the CANTies that didn't want to be a part of CAN are all of a sudden singing a different tune! Unfortunately (at least for them) it looks like that's going to be too late for most if not all of them. Personally I find it a bit unfortunate that with trading on these games tend to devolve into large tech trading blocs like this. It doesn't really make Civ quite as fun. But you know what else isn't that fun? Losing! And that's what tends to happen. Maybe PB4 (if we have one) will be Always War with teams or something. At least that way you know the teams and it doesn't just degenerate into who finds who fastest.
Anyway thanks for keeping in touch - we will try to keep the diplo flowing in the future

Quick chaseup notes to Ruff/Aztecs, JANK/Inca, Carthage, and HRE
Quote:Hey guys,
It seems like it's been awhile since we talked last, so I thought I would drop you guys a quick note to see what's going on. Seems like the world is a-changin' pretty quickly.
Over on our part of the world, you'll probably have noticed that we took a city from Exploit. What is going on over on your side of the world?
PARTY ON!

Rock on!
Good to hear from you. It has been pretty quiet after the Inca peace deal. I've been monitoring their units and they are heading back to their land. I sent out 4 archers north to scout ... 1 to my 3rd city site. One got killed by a barb at 10% odds (I now see a Combat II warrior around). The other two are revealing desert, rivers and floodplains to my north - I expect that you are in the same boat regarding your north.
You have a lovely city site to your south - horse, sheep, sugar and fur. I've looked all over the map for my fur only to decide that Sullla really does hate me.
I have a warrior to your south (0.3 health after being mauled by a warrior that had 7% odds) that is looking for Portugal. He is not stopping to heal ... it would take too long. I have a backup if he dies.
Over to the east, I met Rome (past Inca) and sent them a message (no reply yet). That warrior is continuing NE hoping to locate some of the people in the row above us.
My tech rate is horrible - I am saving coin and sitting on Monarchy. I am also rebuilding some pillaged tiles and seeking to get them back up and running as soon as possible. I think it will take me a very long time to get my tech rate up so I am planning on improving my economy to support troops instead of supporting tech.
Good to hear about Exploit / Yaz. Are you knocking him out of the game totally so that CANT cannot get alphabet? How is our cartel going?

after analyzing it looks like Exploit built a warrior this turn and has 5 total warriors, probably 4 in cap
