Quote:Team Nice Shot,

Thanks! Passive India's Fast Workers were the star of the show. We've had some interesting discussions with Exploit, err...Yaz. Essentially due to discounts Sumeria will get Alphabet in two turns. C&D has confirmed this. On top of that, they have a Settler ready in case they need to go down in a "blaze of glory", i.e. gift all their techs away before elimination. The reality is that even 2 turns is more than we can handle right now. C&D puts them at 5 Warriors, and we have 5 Chariots, some of them wounded. There is also a Byzantine C1/Shock Chariot adjacent to Bison Burgers.

We'll probably make peace with them so we can get Maya/Byz off our backs and start to repair our shattered economy.

PARTY ON!

Yaz accepted the peace deal, Settler for us in 5 turns. Need to talk to Maya next smile.

I did talk to Byz, they plan on leaving their Chariot to heal. They are willing to sign OB.

Quote:Hey,

Congrats on taking Exploit's city! I'm guessing it was the one to your west, on flatland. Didn't he have any idea you were planning on attacking him? Or was he still defending it with warriors?

Things are heating up here as well, as Portugal is about to declare on Rome. As for us, well, let's say we have a little surprise in store for the French...

We will discover HBR on T72, unless something catastrophic happens to our nation. When will you guys finish Metal Casting? (lots and lots of beakers needed!)

Quote:Dear DJ,

I imagine you are quite busy with your campaign against Sumeria so let me simply congratulate you on your victory at Bison Pass. While a decisive victory on your part is not in our best interest, for obvious reason, one should always appreciate a skillfully executed attack when hiding behind city defenses is often such a viable strategy. Smash was there to witness the battle but will now leave the scene so you won't have to worry about him possibly acting as a sentry for the Sumerians. We will continue to talk things over with Cath Bruig, and appreciate that you took the time to answer us despite our previous misjudgement.

Events are proceeding at a rapid pace. We have accepted peace with Sumeria and signed a NAP with them! Good luck with your discussion, we are curious to see how things turn out.

Quote:Both :-). He thought we were attacking and still had it defended with Warriors. Maybe he forgot we had Fast Workers.

Metal Casting ETA right now is after the game is over! However, once our citities regrow and we get the Silver up and some Cottages up, it should go down fast. We can give a much better ETA in about 10 turns.

Interesting news on the French...good luck and keep us up to date!

I thought France was in CAN? That's interesting I suppose.

Yeah, not sure I like the sound of that...I'd like more information but don't really know how to ask it. France is one of those teams we haven't even met yet.

In this post from darreljs Portugal pushes for a replacement of France with Babylon.
