Ichabod (England) wants to trade his silk for my horse but I have no interest to help the one stmping his neighbour with a military resource so I declined.

T 059:
Ichabod (England) now shows to have a Horse-resource on his own (sly fox that he is). England is the 2nd civ to use a more modern gouverment

The biggest news come from Bacchus (India) who settled his 3rd city, completed a tech, a civic and a Holy District in one go pushing his score on 2nd place after Ichabod.

Myself (USA) finally got to farm a wheat getting the inspiration for and completing Irrigation-tech.

Waiting for turn 61 to arrive: Turn 60 saw the founding of my 4th city.

Ichabod completed his 11th tech. suboptimal increased his Mil power and gained a pop-point.

The world as far as I know iat turn 60:




The Barb in the east was hurt by an unknown force (I suspect Bacchus). Once Masonry completes next turn my cities will mostly switch to walls. My scout will continue south /southwest to find the lands of Ichabod and Kaiser.

After I settled city 4 I retreated my Settler-watch from close to suboptimals lands towards my cities to show good intentions.

t61 Kaiser founded a new city

I got Masonry and Mysticism. Used the free envoy on Stockholm for 2 more . Switched to the +1 in all cities policy to speed up walls.

Turn 62:

USA: grew a pop-point in Ohio and upgraded the last slinger because the capital got visited by a Barb-scout. My own scout found borders in the south.




Kaiser(Japan) completed his 8th civic, switched into Oligarchy (from Autocracy),  became souvereign of Stockholm and completed his 2nd district: an Encampment. Quite an accomplishment for someone who got attacked ~ turn 42 and lost his second city then. Also not a turn too soon as suboptimal decides to declare war on Kaiser.

suboptimal (Arabia) finished a settler in his capital and starts an encampment 2 tiles east of Tomatin.

IMO this attack on Kaiser is a mistake. It does help Ichabod(england ) who doesn't need any help at all. Ichabod just completed his 12th tech and 8th civic. He makes 21.3  while the next best makes 13   . He will also get the first Great Scientist and chances are good that Arabia is the next one on his target-list. I don't see any real profit for suboptimal here.

T63:

Ichabod has no desire to share japans territory and declared war on suboptimal. The later lost already 40 Mil power (ouch).

Bacchus settled his 4th city and bought a monument somewhere (most likely reason for his loss of 240 gold and huge increase in ) and finished his 11th tech.

If nobody finishes Stonehenge then Kaiser will get his Great Prophet next turn.

A short update :

During the last turns suboptimal Mil Poweer has dropped from 226 to 96 (and a small increase to 101 last turn). He also settled his 4th city close to me. SO I have to decide if I wantt o go the war-path and take it or let him fight with Ichabod abit longer.

Speaking of Ichabod: He has Horseman and a Power of 276.

Kaiser got his Prophet and founded Ruinism

Bacchus is now in Autocracy so I expect an increase in his Mil.Power soon. (Elephants)

My walls are slowly building up.

In 2 turns my Science District will be finished and then I need more settlers/Units/Workers ..

Tutn 67:

Ichabod has conquered Japans (Kaiser) capital (renamed to Like a Rolling Stone) and with it a Holy Site and an Encampment. Once he kills the last Japanese-city he will have 7 fully functional cities.
I'm pretty sure suboptimal will be the next on his list.

Bacchus increased his MilPower by 40 which is the right number for a Varu. He also follows the Goddess of Harvest believe.

Turn 69

Sent an offer of friendship to Bacchus(India) last turn and he accepted it. Which is great news and also quite logical. Ichabod is the big leader here and we have only a chance by not fighting each other.

Bacchus also completed Stonehenge and founded Hinduism.

Ichabod completed a settler.

Myself finished research on Currency and State workforce. Started a settler in capital for my Iron-spot.

Turn 70:
Despite upgrading a Warrior to a Swordsman suboptimals power dropped from 92 to 64. But he perfers to keep his warrior + sword (= nearly all his military power) right next door to me. That is certainly nice for Ichabod who gets his next cities served on a silver platter.

Arabia also finished an encampment at the capital.
