No, it is not a misclick. Misclick is when you wanted to click on a one spot and ended up clicking on a different spot. In this case I wanted to click on revolution button and clicked there. I just forgot to swap civics in labor column. It is a mistake, not a misclick, and we do not reload mistakes. Therefore, I cannot justify a reload. If it was a small friendly game, I would just beg people for mercy instead of justification. But I am not going to do it in a large competetive game like that one.

It looks like I am going to put aa possibility of cooperation between experienced players under AI diplo to a true test. Dtay and Dark Savant, my future targets (in that order) are a little bit too paranoid for my liking, so I am going to declare a war on Krill next turn. The war is going to be completely fake, with no offensive actions on my side, but I hope that it will confuse other players to our mutual benefit. The question is whether Krill would have eenough sense to play along. I sent him a Banana gift last turn and he reciprocated but he is not yet aware what exactly this Banana means
For the record, protective trait is saving dtay's ass right now. He has castles everywhere plus an ability to spam CG3 Longbows everywhere in a ridiculous quantity. I have Janissaries to counter both but there are only a precious few of them. And I could not wait longer: he is 2 turns from Astro.
Initial plan was to take his islands and burn his ports, so that he could never be able to compete with me on the seas. Real results will be much more modest. I am taking huge losses which do not seem worth it. But do not see what else could I too. Leaving dtay be was not an option: he has a lot of land and no real pressure upon his borders. Next up is an attack against Dark Savant who has built Chichen Itza. How am I supposed to expand if all my neighbors turtle up like hell? Ironically, Krill looks like the softest target but I cannot touch him: it will just through the game to Joey. |
