Civ VI PBEM 10: Newbies' paradise

Because planning two PBEMs in one thread won't work.

There seemed to be some interest in a PBEM game for newbies in that thread. I think that's a great idea and I would like to join such a game. We could either have a team game with a vet and newbie in each team, or just let us noobs fight it out among ourselves.

As a starting date, February 14 or later would work for me - assuming there'll be no internet problems at my new apartment.

I plan to get the expansion, but I'm not interested in the small DLCs, so I'd be up for either a vanilla+Aztecs game or Rise and Fall.

I'd be in for this BUT could should not start before March 12th as I'll be Civ-less from March 1st through the 11th. If this works for everyone else that's interested, count me in. If not I'll wait for PBEM 10 and perhaps dedlurk this game instead.

I put in for a spot in PBEM 8. However if they are full I would like to join this one. I have all dlc, and the expo pre ordered.

I'm also in. I'd much prefer a newbies and vets team game than just newbies. Of course most of the vets are busy right now.

I wouldn't mind waiting for that. After all, PBEM8 is just starting. And it might be good for me not to jump into a big new time commitment just after moving. Maybe I'll look for some duel games in the meantime.

OK...we can wait a bit then try to get going on the organizing. I'll be able to read & post while I'm away, I just won't have a computer to do it from. If we can grab a fourth in that time we could start up right when I return.

Just checking in here while on vacation....do we still have three and do we want to get another 1 or 2 players to try to start something up next week or so?

I'm still interested, and I'd actually prefer a smaller game for finding out if PBEM is my thing, so if we can get three or four players in total that would be fine by me. But I don't want to stop anyone from joining!
