Hey Soooo, can you let me know your plans for our military units outside our borders (or even inside). Some of them are moved and some of them aren't. I'm not trying to be overly domineering, but I wonder if our powerful HAs aren't better used at home until we need to go campaigning.

Pre-turn-roll: Settled the missionary in LN and roaded 1t with a worker that didn't want to chop into BB for overflow reasons.

Post-turn-roll: GScientist born somewhere, moved a few military units.

Workers moved, military left unmoved. Courthouse in MB whipped. Started a couple of HAs and a couple of markets.

No one has any clue about what techs our alliance is researching?

Was in-game and noticed a few things, tech-related

1) I believe we offered Lit in-game to everyone - if you need/want it, feel free to request

2) Please make sure and keep your tech numbers up to date on the spreadsheet

3) I believe HRE discovered Metal Casting this turn so they should give it to the teams that still lack it (Ottos and Inca I believe?)

4) Similarlyl Rome I saw you guys now had Monarchy? Not clear if that was researched or I just missed it before, but If researched, I believe aztecs and Inca still lack it.

5) Are we sure we have the right folks teching still? We are up to 118bpt now (albeit at high costs of -63gpt). Hard to tell if we should be teching or not (see #2). Right nwo we're saving gold and building markets, but markets seem like a waste if we're going to eventually be a teching civ.

6) And obviously spread that Buddhism if/when possible!

7) Oh and don't forget to PARTY ON!

I agree but I just wonder about the efficacy of this if we're not a "techer". I think we should be trying to become a techer as I think in the techer / funder model, being a techer is superior. It certainly gives a lot more flexibility in a No Brokering game.

Which is why I'm against the markets we're building

Hmm, I hadn't thought about the markets in terms of techers vs researchers. Markets are bad if we plan on being at 100% science for most of the time, but is that a reasonable assumption? Are we sure that CUDDLE will last for long enough? If the alliance breaks down then a couple of gold buildings will help in keeping our science slider high.

Not many hammers into the markets, we can change if we want.
