Logged in, made some moves (Worker Gladstone is moving to the Plains Hill by Exodus to build a mine). A Couple units left unmoved.
Kyan: What are you doing with our Woody II Warrior? It should be out exploring until it dies. It is utterly useless to keep him in a city. I haven't moved him yet, but I'd like to know what you're planning to do with him, or if you have a plan.
Also: I take it that we are constantly being funded, thus we will anticipate running the slider at 100% constantly? Even if that is the case, I would encourage you to slot in Court Houses and even Markets when the chance arises. I want to be prepared just in case we lose our funders.

Hey matey. Super, thanks.
The warrior is of limited use. We have enough future city locations planned out for the moment. It isn't utterly useless to keep him in a city as we're in hereditary rule- he's keeping Leviticus happy. The other alternative would be to send him into the SE desert as a fogbuster but he'll be killed easy enough by any barbs anyway so seems a bit pointless.
Yeah we'll be funded to 100%. Markets and courthouses are definitely not something i will totally neglect but aren't anywhere near top of priorities list for now. Unless i MAJORLY screw up the diplo, we won't be flying solo

OK, fair enough on the Warrior. I still like to know as much as I can about the region, and all that black stuff so close to us nags at me. Are we actually going to get maps from our allies soon?
As for infrastructure, well, I have no doubt that you'll keep us on top diplomatically. However, I really urge the construction of Court Houses, if nothing else. Why? Lower costs means we lose less money each turn, which means one of two things: Our allies don't have to give us as much money (bleh), or: We can build up a cash reserve/afford to hire more troops (yay!). Court Houses are useful no matter where the slider is. Markets, less so. But, as I said, building a few in our high-income cities would be a nice fail-safe in case something goes horribly wrong. Also, Court Houses = Forbidden Palace.
Briefly, what's the deal with our funding (hasn't read e-mail in ages)? Are our allies on 100% gold and giving that all to us, or are we getting a set amount of gold, or some other arrangement?
Second question: Is Islam still up for grabs? If so, any way we can get to Divine Right first? I'd like us to found the religion if for no other reason than to have a city in which building Wall Street wouldn't be a complete waste.

Yeah paper is due t105. i'll get that cuddle map for you asap.
I request whatever we need to stay at 100%. Krill is on pure gold as is England. Both are easily supplying us whilst bulbing techs themselves
Cyneheard is a genius at this kinda micro stuff so i'm leaving him to it. Feudalism due in 3t.
Longbows will make you happy i'm sure. I think we should be selfish and get at LEAST 1 more city down soon tho, but we also need more workers. Bah, so much to do.

Let's talk Worker Actions. I should have given it more thought, myself, since I made a couple small errors, I think. But, either way, we probably want to prioritize what needs to be done. So, I took some pictures.
And this has current Worker locations highlighted.
Do we want Genesis to work tiles or hire specialists? If we build Cottages on the remaining two riverside grassland tiles, and build Windmills on the grass hills to the east, and the plains hills to the south, we can support a population of 12.
At Exodus, I had the Worker start a road, but I should have just moved to the plains hill, since building the mine is of higher priority. Might be better to go ahead and finish the road, though. Not sure, now.
I'm a little too tired to think about it now, but let me know your thoughts (you, too, TT, if you're still around). Once we've agreed on what to do, I can try to make a rough worker action schedule thing.

Mostly a bump. Haven't really been able to log in last few days (OK, OK, just got lazy). I'll try to make a point of doing so today and at least getting a rough idea of what needs to be done domestically so Kyan doesn't have to go even more turns without proper direction. And by "proper," I mean . . . guestimation.
I would still like my teammates suggestions for Genesis, though. I like my "windmills aplenty" idea, but I don't know if that holds water for the rest of you. The idea behind it is to create more "food neutral" tiles while providing a little extra commerce. Windmills improve, of course, with future technologies. Genesis barely has any food, so putting mines down seems like a bad idea, long-run.

I think we should at least farm the tile 1W of the iron. Genesis is never gonna be amazing and it will likely be worth sticking with our original idea of moving the capital at some point. Windmills are rather weak until later on and can't see us running short of workable tiles anytime soon.

I apologize. These last few days have brought unexpected events that have consumed much of my free time. I hope to log in soon so I can do some more planning and micro-what-not.
