While I was going through my thread to update my second post with the link collection, I noticed I didn't answer this. No I didn't kill anybody in PB40. I only attacked RFS, which caused their elimination in the long run.

Unfortunately I was not fast enough to move towards MerchantTrolls and Jowy took it. But more shockingly Jowy took ExploringFauns from Mjmd and razed. That city had two settled Great Generals, what a shame.

Meanwhile in the north it looks like I will even survive AT. He only has one city remaining at 1 pop with 2 longbowmen and 1 archer in there. Wow, I would not have thought that I survive him.

Mjmd is quickly falling apart between Jowy and OH. I think this is still OHs or better pindicators game to win and I'm in full support of that. If they win quickly I may even survive this PB. Only question is how do I get them there, without Jowy and Mr. Cairo killing me.

On to the actual game. So in order to survive this game, someone has to win quickly I think the best odds has OH/pindicator. With AT gone and Mjmd falling apart, this leaves only two other players that need to concede. Mr. Cairo and Jowy. The best way to achieve that is a war between those two. So...

I'm also very close to Gunpowder and with that Privateers.

Lastly I send my lonely Axeman from 'I Will Survive' towards Jowy on the Galleon. Maybe I can take an unprotected coast/island city from him.

I meant Mjmd attacking you recently.  When Jowy piled on, I was pretty sure I'd survive past you.   Nice move with the iceball city.

In the end Jowy piling on did save my capital, because neither could attack the city without giving it to the other

No pictures this time, because I had to play on a different machine. First of all Mr. Cairo did not take my Defensive Pact, which is a shame in the end, as you will see. But Jowy accepted silk for wine and OH iron for wine. Not that much else happened in T233. I kept one pikeman near IceKeenWitch as a scout.

I opened T234 up with a war declaration by Jowy. Thanks buddy. He only moved units towards BerzerkHalfling, which is understandably underdefended. I moved all units back to the capitol, but at least I was able to whip another longbowman from there, who can join the defense of the capitol. Interestingly no Jowy units moved towards the capitol.

Lastly a Jowy knight was teleported towards my SW, just in reach of my pikeman. 72% odds for my pikeman. Well why not.

Apparently Jowy not only declared war on me, but also got peace with Mjmd. So far his gains in that war were:

GoldsmithSkags
MerchantTrolls

And he razed

ImperialRatmen
ExploringFauns

This probably hurt Mjmd, but no core cities of his were damaged and the gains for Jowy were only small.




The situation on the ground is that Jowy will take BerzerkHalfling, but so far no troops were marching towards AquaticGhouls except for a small contingent pillaging my iron. Fortunately I won't need it anymore soon, because as you can see I managed to tech towards Gunpowder during the peace time.


I setup everything so that it should still be completed at the end of the turn. I also send a request for 50 gold to each one of Mr. Cairo, Mjmd and OH. This is mostly to ensure that I get Gunpowder and some extra money to upgrade longbowman in AquaticGhouls

I also send Mjmd an OB offer. Hopefully he soon converts that into a war declaration and both Jowy and him stand at my capitol like last time.  

Also Mjmd build a new city on the ruins of ExploringFauns. Tip for you Mjmd: Name it New ExploringFauns

Jowy will be at my capitol this turn. But he can't take it immediately in T238, because he doesn't have enough units. Still he will take it. I do hope I stay in this game until at least T239. Why?

Well...




I moved my galleon with the axeman on board down towards Jowy. My plan is to hide the galley in Mr. Cairo's city of Devil in T238. Then in T239 I will see if anyone of Jowys cities in that region is lightly defended or better without defenders. Wouldn't it be amazing if my single axeman could capture one of his cities?
