PBEM7: Email and Technical Issues

Is anyone else going to be gone for an extended period of time in the near future?

Just thought of something - quick speed right? That'd be my recommendation with PBEM and No Tech Trading. NTT would balance out the drawback of quick speed which is that military units obsolete quicker. Agree/disagree?

Edit: Nah I'll be around... Shouldn't be hard to find a sub to more the warrior/scout early on though I would think.

I will probably not be at home for 3-4 days at the start to middle of August (visiting my family in Austria). As soon as I know exact dates I will let you know.

And I will start with picking the civ... as soon as I am sure but at least today. Is it enough if I write it in this thread or should I send it to Krill too? Or will you take care of that when we all have picked Scooter?

Serdoa, you can just stick your pick in this thread whenever you'd like. Once you have picked either a civ or a leader, whoever's next (SleepingMoogle) will be up, and so on. You don't have to send it to someone else, as when it's your turn, you get whoever you want that's still available. If someone would like they can PM their top 2 or so to someone (like Krill or whomever) so that if it's their turn while they're sleeping it'll get picked, but that's not really necessary with just five people.

Also - I just PM'd Krill with the run-down for the map.

Let's gather them all together first and then send them to Krill. If he's checking here that's great, but no need to send him 5 different messages he needs to keep track of when we could send one. He'll have to wait for all of us to pick anyways before finalizing the map.
