This is what I plan on sending to PAT:

To the PAT technological alliance

The Ottoman Regime and the Holy Roman Directorate accept the gracious invitation extended by the PAT alliance. However, before we fully commit ourselves to the alliance, we would like every existing member to go over these terms, and indicate they accept our reasonable conditions.

- It is up to Ottomans and the HRE to decide when to inform the world of their intent to join PAT. No hints/clues are to be given to the remaining members of CUDDLE. This will give us time to move troops to our newly vulnerable border with CUDDLE members.

- every current member of PAT signs a full NAP with Ottoman and HRE, lasting a minimum of 50 turns. After the 50 turns have passed, each side can cancel the NAP with a cooldown of 10 turns. This NAP goes into force as soon as every current member of PAT has signalled their agreement with this message.

- PAT members near Ottoman (Egypt and Carthage) and HRE (England) agree to commit a reasonable amount of troops, to be stationed inside Ottoman and HRE, as a deterrent to CUDDLE aggression. The size of these forces are left to the alliance member's discretion, allthough a sizeable expedition force will be greatly appreciated.

I hate to say this, but this is absurd. When the game restarted 2 weeks ago, it was 860AD. We're now at 900AD, all of TWO TURNS LATER. I'm not even sure WHY we're taking so long, except that most of us don't really care anymore about playing this game promptly. It's instead dying a (very) slow death. I can't even manage my civ properly when it takes 5 days between turns, much less feel invested in this game at all. And many others feel the same way.

So, shall we take a vote on ending the game?

There are 14 teams still alive. I believe we should have at least a 2/3 vote to call the game done (so, 10 teams). No one is in a dominant position for the win (and with tech trading, it's not like most of our teams are unable to stay competitive), but I don't know how the 14 of us are ever going to finish this game.

I don't want to be part of the first RB game to not even declare a winner, but I don't see another option.
