I would be surprised if there isn't a food resource near the gems in the fog. It might be second right from the gems, though. Here's hoping the scout lives for some time.

Bad news: Xist's scout popped up on turn 3. This is another crowded shitbox map. At least I have a earlygame UU this time.

My estimates about how packed the map were wrong, it's even more of a close shitfest than I thought. There is a decent chance I die to xist if he axe rushes me before I settle a third city for copper. Great map design!

So Mmjd eliminated superdeath over on vet island? Didn't see that coming. But Mmjd is crafty and Zulu are the king of early eliminations, so it makes sense he would want to wipe Byzantium off the board if he had an opening.

Cramped maps still suck though.

So, not only do I have 2 barb warriors invading before t50, but Xist already has two vultures headed into my territory. Cramped maps are so much fun!

I hope I get eliminated quickly and don't have to put any more thoughts into this game.

Xist won his coinflip axe vs vulture battle vs the axe I could scrape together, so I am done for. GG.

It was nooby of me not to pick a mining civ and immediately research BW and settle on copper. But also, having to play like that is no fucking fun.
