RPB3 SPOILERS Bismarck of India (regoarrarr, darrelljs, sooooo, sunrise089)

I am making my unofficial retirement from this game official. If at some point sooooo and sunrise089 both want to quit (and regoarrarr isn't around to take over), I will resume control of India long enough to inform everyone I am dropping out of the game (i.e. I'll take the fall).

Fall guy to the last, eh darrell wink

With Ottomans switching sides I think we're pretty much out of the running. That doesn't mean I'll stop playing, but it does mean that our alliance is pretty much sunk. All PAT needs to do is dangle membership in front of 3-4 more CUDDLE teams, then they can dismember the remainder (including us).

So is there interest from the team in trying to be one of those 3-4 teams? Or is that pretty much hopeless?

Ok, logging in for the first time in a LONG time, and after I think we missed a turn, and after the Ottomans turned on us and may be able to do some serious damage...

And....for the first time I realize that not only the Ottomans but also the Holy Romans are switching sides. I'm fine with conceding this btw frown

and then....stuck in vote frown

Ok, worst turn report ever. banghead

Geez, I leave the team and things sure fall apart quickly. I guess I underestimated how critical my wit and charm were :kisskiss:.

All I know is that quitter darrell posts a lot more than player darrell did :neenernee

I'm going to assume it's something to do with the freedom of lowered expectations. lol

That might have something to do with it smile. Ottomans/HRE leaving was pretty much the final straw. I'd been wanting to read the lurker threads for a while...

I don't mind playing the odd turn, fighting down to the last etc

T154 - Rifling to Byzantium. Rifling and world map to Inca for Rifling. In a diplo window they said w/o Rifling they would be quickly overrun by the two traitor civs.

Ok, last turn, Krill got a GProphet. The Ottomans canceled out resource deals and OB. Morgan (what civ?) launched a GA. Our old friend Donovan is apparently the new Portugal player.

This turn I bring all of our units in Incan land home. They can chat me up and request help if they need it, but otherwise I don't trust the diplo situation enough. I also shift some units from the west back east. This is good since there are already Carthage 1-movers in Ottoman lands on our border.

Note to self: no matter how many times I said it was absolutely vital we have NAPs with all of our tech-sharing allies in this thread, I didn't say it enough frown

@sooooo - only 4 hours left, so I went ahead and moved the workers. You may, however, want to check my builds for optimal hammer-ness or infrastructure order.

To be honest, I'm only putting half-hearted effort into the game at this point. The alliance thing wasn't the best ever, but the betrayal and the lack of strategic choke points on this map means defending is a nightmare. I'm sure there are some places we could loose workers due to four enemy workers in the fog double roading and then capturing our units with 2-movers, but I'm not quite up to playing well. Sorry soooo.

T 155 - First, how the $&*% can we be one of the most recently updated threads? lol Soooo and I aren't exactly loosing sleep over this game, but maybe we're doing better than most.

Carthage got a GEngineer this turn and Mali DOW'd Rome.

Anyways, pretty much more of the same. Queuing up Cavalry builds everywhere (Cavs are still decent when our superior tech rivals bring in Cannons, Infantry, and Machine Guns. Rifles aren't.). Ottomans have a 12-unit stack in our border city. Sooooo, I know there pauses are gross, but any help with city/worker management you can offer would be much appreciated.
