I was highly tempted to steal the Team 1 forum but being number 1 has the nasty habit of making everyone attack you.

Should we start posting our thoughts about traits, civs, and general strategy?

Yeah you can post the various chats we've had about our picks. I'm waiting to find out for sure what all the settings will be.
If we do go with quick speed then maybe a max economy combination (India, HRE, Zulus) would work best.

Quick won't be that quick. I like the stuff we picked out in chat. It seems like a pretty good gameplan that we had.

We were going to post our initial plans but with the clusterfuuuu that is the planning thread, we are recondiering everything.
I do have one question for you lurkers. I'm probably sure someone else had this idea (if it is not Speaker, then I'm fine) but does anyone know how gifting cities effects culture victories? Say each civ goes for a legendary city and then 2 gift them to the third civ, can that work? If not, how do you win culture in a team game?

Culture victories are already based around a team rather than a player. By the time all three cities had reached legendary, the game would be won without any city gift shenanigans. OCC games with permanent alliance or teams switched on can be won this way, by helping out computer allies with great artists.
As far as the question though, I'm fairly sure gifting a city resets its culture.
