So why isn't Mardoc considering settling 1N more? Mist has mentioned it but it seems the best to me. he can then have a nother city in the south to take advantage of more coves...

I had the same thought. It would require clearing the shipwreck ,which he seems reluctant to do.

Not sure why - he should have pplenty of warriors by the time he has researched fishing and built 1 WB for the lake cove.

Edit - and another wb for the actual pop/cove.

... except his warrior hasn't. With no orcs in the game, and the elves starting with two scouts, I removed the Strong and Heavy promotions. I hope you don't feel as though that invalidates your map concept.

Oh, no. You were right, they were just there to keep Thoth from killing everyone, I just figured they'd carry over naturally during the WB filing-editing process.


Also yeah good point on the elves. Would have needed to change their starting units to be fair.

In my series of emails with uberfish while I straightened out problems with my edits to the worldbuilder file, he complained that the start looked a lot better for the Lanun than for his civ. I replied that he should complain in his thread, since Bob loves to read griping about his maps.
