So we're thinking AAA Guv'mint---Agrairian/Aristo/Arete
Khazad + (Lunan/Hippus) for our back to back picks. Khazad trebs + hippus mounted sounds good to me, but everyone seems to have a hard-on for Falamir. This is a 10% water map though, so how much sense does that make? Khazad + RoK is priority #1 then--what're we doing for #2?
Hey, guys, just posting to wish you all good luck. I hope you don't feel like the outsiders from Reddit here: once you are posting in the moss green walls, you are a member of RB.
Another thing is that I want to make sure that you are all familiar with the EitB changes. The game is significantly different from vanilla FfH, in my opinion, so it's important that you guys are aware of it.
Ichabod: I recall reading that aristocracy + agrarian economies were banned (here on RB). Care to corroborate this?
Hart Wrote:Ichabod: I recall reading that aristocracy + agrarian economies were banned (here on RB). Care to corroborate this? No, they weren't. We got some maps made that made aristocracy + agrarian worst (lots of plains, for example), but they were never banned. Besides, if the settings post doesn't mention a ban, it's not banned for the game. We don't ban things outside of a particular game setting. But cottage economies got really buffed in EitB. The foreign trade civic gives 100% imporvement growth. There's a civic that gives hammers to towns. The mod tries to make cottages more balanced with aristocracy farms.
Ok, to continue the debate (we have already thrashed this out in IRC for about a day now), you're totally right TB, Lanun are not the best choice for this map.
We need to make a list of civs in priority order. I'm busy until tomorrow night, so, someone else start up. Ichabod: Banned? Why did I write that? But you answered my *real* question anyway. FOREIGN TRADE? Wow. For the sake of consistency and experience with the technique, we should stick to aristofarms anyway. Potential list: Calabim Sidar ??? - Which other civs work really well with Construction tech, and the Mounted line?
