Speaking of recruitment, I talked to Kyan and we were thinking about putting up an official recruitment thread in Civ General or something to try to get the ball rolling. I've got a draft of a recruitment post ready to go. You guys okay with that going up in Civ General and that pointing to here for signups?

Just as an introduction: I played in Pitboss 1 waaaaaaay back in the day. But otherwise mostly lurk here on RB. I'm reasonably competent at civ but nowhere near meticulous enough to compete with the pros on this site. Don't really have time to play much these days because I can never guarantee being at home with my civ-playing-laptop most days. But can contribute to discussions and play the odd turn if required.

I mostly joined this team because I'm pretty sure you're going to win.

I'm thinking let's not start that - keeping setup/signups to one main thread might be better. If other teams do recruitment threads you have full authority to post one for us too!

I guess this can be our official introduction thread. I've played in a bunch of PBEMs now (3, 7, 14, 22, 32, 39) and I'm in my first Pitboss right now (5). My civ skills themselves are solid but pretty unspectacular. I tend to have fairly frequently updated threads, so I plan to contribute to that effect here by being quite active if I'm able.
