Preeeetty sure I already did a Witcher theme bud, GG tho, GL next tim. Golfclap

But seriously, no Iorveth in Witcher 3 was a crime against humanity. I also managed to miss Letho, despite keeping the bastard alive, although I have only my dumb, unobservant ass to blame for that.

Good, you can give me name suggestions neenerneener
I'm still in Velen in Witcher 3.. Currently being tricked by women, both dead and alive ones.
Letho was a bro.. I also let him live. Is meeting him a missable scene or did you just finish the main quest before doing all the things?

I'm looking to pick up a mix of Fin/Chr/Agg/Phi for this game. Civ is still up to debate. One that starts with Hunting seems like a good idea considering the start.

He's both missable by failing to go to the right location (i.e. he won't just pop up on his own) and by advancing too far into the story, which I believe removes him (and presumably a bunch of other secondary characters) from the game world. In my case, I did visit the place where he's staying, but only to fulfill an unrelated contract, and I left after completing said mission without sufficiently exploring the area. I then got through Act 2, so when I read online that he was in the game it was too late to meet him. Which was obnoxious since apparently he has a fairly substantial quest chain.

Anyway, want a dedicated lurker? I would have joined this game as a player, but there was no way I commit to the time demands of a pitboss.

Also, will you be naming cities after characters or locations? I did the former, IIRC. If you go with cities, Capital has to be Vizima.

Oh and supposedly the expansion will bring back some Witcher 2 characters, which has to be everyone's favorite surly elf and dragon lady.

I would love to have a ded lurker, welcome aboard!

Let's go with city and village names for our cities. I approve of Vizima as our capital smile
Hopefully we won't run out of names. I haven't read the books (yet). Going to finish the third game first.

I'm surprised those two characters aren't in the game yet.. I suppose the reason is that one of them could be dead, so they can't be a prominent figure in the story.

No reason for the first-person plural unless you meant the royal "we", I think my main qualitative contribution here is going to be Witcher 3 gameplay tips and city names.

That said, I shall now use my half-remembered Krill Mod knowledge gained from the roughly 20 turns I played of PB18 to profer some completely uninformed civ / leader combo suggestions smoke :

Genghis of Zulu: Spam cities everywhere, spam Zulu UB in cities, once enough cities are spammed, eat neighbors for more cities.

Gilgamesh of the Maya: Insurance in case you think you'll be dicked over resource-wise in the map, plus some crazy vertical growth potential coupled with the ability establish favorable borders fast.

Alex of Rome: Do Praetorians get the ridiculous RtR Swords boosts? If so, Aggressive Praets sound pretty fuckin' sweet, even if they're only strength 7 now or whatever. Forums and Phi sound like obvious synergy- I've read that isn't actually the case, but I can't remember having actually seen anyone demonstrate why.

Pericles of Korea: Bring back the old meta where the Sulla Certified play was to get an academy out ASAP. Then use mad academy $$$ to win in some unspecified fashion.

I have no idea if any of those civs start with hunting. lol Fuck it, just go Egypt, you're good with them.

Yeah, RtR Praets get the +50% city attack, they're B-A-N-A-N-A-S bananas. Phi and the Forum seem to me like they have super awesome synergy... perhaps you're thinking of the Forum w/ Exp (which gives half-priced markets in RtR), because you'd only be trying to generate Great People in a few cities, and therefore there's not a lot of appeal to having a cheaper UB that gives a GPP bonus since you'd only be using it for that in one or two cities? That sentence is probably really confusingly worded... um, what I'm trying to say is that the RtR forum is a good UB IMHO, just not one that you care about spamming in every city, and Exp likes to spam markets in every city. Does that make sense? Ah, I give up, I hope you get what I mean... lol

At any rate Phi is a lot of hard work and planning, not very casual. frown
