Here is the first view/overview on my leader set.

Sitting bull (Phi/Pro) of Inca
Mysticism+Agriculture

I think Pro is well-estimes by the crowd, but granary bonus combined with Terrace creates a synergy and solves many problems you could ever accure in the beginning of the game and in the early medium. Queuchas are nice since they can be built during all the early stage of the game despite if access to cooper.

Phi is not very strong trait even with 150% bonus, but it can open some different opportunities. In general I like having options over that having plain advantage.

Huayaba Capac (Ind/Fin) of Ethiopia
Hunting+Mining

Ind is one of my personal favourites. To be honest, usually I play much less aggressive when people do not forget to build units and I tend to base strategy on some wonders or their combination. And if you are aiming on taking some wonder it is really important to build it but not a sack of gold. Ind civs are slow in development but are extremely nice on maps where you cant plant widely unlimited, usually it happens on islands or simply small maps with high density.

But there are some obvious disadvantages of ethiopian HC in RTR mod. It is first of all nerfed Fin which is still better than nothing but he considering improved other traits it drops to the bottom of my priorities. And another thing is that Ethiopia has sensless UB and UU. Oromo showed themselves well in a few games of mine, but knights first strike immunity destroys almost everything. On the tight maps where small stacks can dominate they can work, but what is the probability that the map will be proper for Oromos? According to what I've seen it is leaning to the zero...
Slightly better early techs...

Pericles (Phi/Cre) of Maya
Mysticism+Mining

This combo is very similar to Siting Bull, but without bonus to library is clearly worse. But it has less problems with culture if the map is close. Also it has its own solution for happy (though it requires Construction, and for 40 hammers I can still build 2,5 queuchas, that can compensate it with monarchy). Holkan can be useful on the maps with early contact. But I cant imagine small standart map for 8 players.

Your start sir. Only the starting city radius is firm, and pay no mind to the little green icon in the top left, the real thing will start with RBmod.

Well done, Ceiliazul! Thanks for lovely start!

Well well well. The last point for Inca is wheat as the main capital's food. Obvious choice but with this nerfed fin and cre wiyhout library bonus I guess sometimes you just have to do obvious things.

Inca and wheat opens me 3 possible options for early play:
1) classic Mining--> Bronse working for whips and chops
2) go for religion before anything
3) go for Pottery directly
...

About starting position everything advises me yo move 1 tile east to get less coastal tiles, more chances to open another resourse and save forest for later chopping.

The main idea for the early game is to get potter as soon as possible, but the workers I build before must not be idle. The middle-term goal is to plant as wide as possible, get monarchy and fast academy.

How do you find your opposition, even before the picks are announced? Who are the main contenders in your opinion?

I havent formed firm opinion about most of the players. 2metra, TBS and Mackoti have good chances for the 2nd place, of course if they havent got lucky to be my close neighbors. pimp .

Commodore, REM and Old Harry didnt prove themselves well in the games we played, but I do not drop them from accounting because I have too low experience here to judge.

About pindicicator to be honest I havent heard before.

About starting combos, I consider my own combo as average. There are many good AGG choices which are truely powerful in RTR mod, so it must be hard game, I must get ready to use PRO.

My personal rankings is the following:
1. Tokugava of Egypt
2. Boa of India
3. Ghengis of Zulu
4. Saladin of Byz
5. Qin of Rome, Bull of Inca
6. Peter of HR
7. Ramsess of Mongolians or whatever Mackoti takes.
