Hunting required and then some flexibility with the other tech. Obviously beeline BW, but I don’t think mining is required as a starting tech. Pottery is hugely important, and having the wheel early is nice to give workers some added ability to road up. And there is ivory...this sounds like Mongolia to me. And we are all on the same landmass.

If ipecac picks, if a lurker would be kind enough to pick Mongolia for me, I’d appreciate it. I will be out of pocket for a good part of the day.

That start is a little too lush, even by RB standards. I'd start here, else things may become imbalanced.

Chinggis Khan Wodka is amazing, had it with some Mongolian BBQ once. All time favorite is still Russian Standard Platinum though.

That sounds like a rough exit when you mix spicy BBQ and vodka.  I didn’t know Russian Standard was regarded highly. I’m not a vodka man (anymore), but it’s good to know for entertaining those who are. Tito’s, I’m aware, is about on the level of double-gems. 

The actual start is something. There’s enough hills to do some productin’ and grassland for cottagin’. The commerce potential is essentially cottages. Worth figuring out if an early cottage or two is better than bee lining bw. 

But really folks, aren’t you just here for the Keshiks and liquor comparisons?
