But some of the other problematic things still remain, even without charismatic. Like chop+whipping work boats with the Heroic Epic for instance, or Quechua warriors if you're Inca.
edit: Or are you telling me that CtH/RtR only returns hammers to gold in a 1:1 ratio? Does it benefit from production modifiers?

I did not test the modifiers. I only tested an unmodified production of an monument in BtS and CtH. In both cases I produced 80 hammers worth of overflow. In BtS I got no gold and in CtH I got around 50 gold. Because BtS gave no gold I stopped testing any further and looked into the code. At that point it was clear to me that this was an unwanted aka gameplay-altering change that nobody asked for. With CtH I want to stay close to BtS 3.19 and I think Krill with RtR may not have wanted it either.

So I remebered right that in bts you get nothing and must take care if overflow is to big you just lose it. I remeber over CFC was a big discution about this overflow and in the end the developer decided to remove anithing what remained over. yeah there were dudes producing wariours with a heroic epic...

You were absolutely right about that. As for why I did not notice. There are so many changes in BUG, which are mostly good, that I can't always differentiate between what is BUG and what not.

Jowy is looking good, he should be able to claim both Colossus and more than his share of the islands he borders with Superdeath.

Superdeath builds the great lighthouse for Gaswyn. Pindore and Gav have so many units on their mutual border they can't eat a neighbor. Amicola gets split by Ruff, Jowy and Gaswyn.
The logical conclusion is that Gaswyn snowball to victory, but that just doesn't sound right. Let's say the game ends in a fiery controversy over double moves or turn pace.
Prediction one half complete. Prediction two underway. Prediction three to be decided...
Not sure what the fiery controversy will be yet.
Completed: RB Demogame - Gillette, PBEM46, Pitboss 13, Pitboss 18, Pitboss 30, Pitboss 31, Pitboss 38, Pitboss 42, Pitboss 46, Pitboss 52 (Pindicator's game), Pitboss 57

It looks like commodore is very uninvested and might just let gavagai eat him.

Clock timer shenanigans, a seemingly bad-faith double-move, or a player acting as an incredibly obvious and obnoxious kingmaker all sound like normally safe bets, but the most likely culprits also look like the best candidates for the first eliminations.
Oh, I know! Charriu proposes a patch which some players see as favoring others, and the game melts down over whether or not to implement it. Maybe suggest that Fin is underpowered, and should now receive doubled cottage growth rates, or something. You got this, buddy!

So basically most of my mistakes on this map come down to not adjusting SD's position relative to the salty gang, probably should've left his spawn where it was originally, at those corner floodplains, and cleaned out a bit of jungle to the west? That western area is shitty, and has been rightfully criticized. Then he wouldn't have had great access to other players, it would've been awkward at best... Probably should've cut that land out, and made a landbridge to the island to the south, and placed SD on said landbridge? Would've been an interesting start to say the least...
I think Gaswyn complaints should be tempered by the fact that jungle is worse than forest, and SD has plenty of it to cut. My problem, obviously, was with how i positioned it.
Strategic resource balance was off, I should've been more careful about that, SD is screwed in that regard, and Gaswyn feel undue pressure from that placement. It was a bad choice.
