i think i can get time to login to do the super early turns, just depends on when we start/our pace.

Its Thursday and with 2 sick boys I forgot to ask for a player order.

Also, I see 2 other people downloaded the map, did anyone else have trouble loading? Its giving me an error.

Got correct mod and it opened fine. Still need that random order. I was going to do in order that current file is in, even though those players aren't next to each other (its almost perfectly counterclockwise except for Augustus). Unsure why, but I'm just going to go in order in the file.

It was to edit in the picks into positions. I just went down the text file. So player 0 in the file is #1 on the list and so forth.

So, map seems fine, but I would give the barbarian rifles at least a second experience level - I think that was the trick to reduce the risk that the get deleted.

There seems to be one function (to save gold maybe ?) where the AI, including barbarians, disbands city defenders.
This function seems to sort after unit level, not unit strength, so there is the risk that the rifles get disbanded after the Barb city produced its first warrior.
To combat this, the workaround seems to be giving the unit a level higher than 1 (and to be completely sure, I also would give the unit the experience and a useless promotion (Anti Tank ?)).
