Sorry, I've been IRL busy and not much has happened anyways. I'll post when I can. Short of it is I've been following your plan retep, BW just came in, so turn 12 is done.
Well, Brick ain't getting Commodored, that's a lot of warriors around. Pretty decent empire, actually, although annoying about MM's holy city to our west. Still, healthy enough, and good blockers are good. Next up, granaries whipped in and then workers, then more cities.
Actually, check that about the Hindu culture. ![]() Okay, this is a very nice setup. I'm assuming the Writing -> Math -> Currency -> CoL line next, with a side of get that copper hooked ASAP.

So it's been a little too long here. How about a Commodore update? I've been playing most of the turns, albeit usually in a rush. Here's the empire of Whedon:
Not a lot has happened, actually, people are just growing and building. I'm sure Slowcheeta and Sian are in a 'mids race, but the rest of us are bumbling along with religions and other greenery. MusicMan Oracled Metal Casing, as for some reason the Ind guys were feeling...I dunno, tired? Stonehenge slowed Azza down a bit, but I guess as a uh...plus, it got him a Prophet. So that's cool. I like having pop more. I suck at Civ, too. Exhibit A: Farmer's gambit powering me onwards to the MoM and the Great Library, is my hope. Apparently, we're blessed with good neighbors. Slowcheeta, why are you wandering in the middle of nowhere with an axe? Lacking much else to grow on, I am making a couple chariots in the growth cycles. Here's Shiny Australia, about to take on all her riverside tiles as growing cottages. After the Lit diversion, it's strait on to Civil Service, with this okayish capital pumping massive beakers. Miranda gets its gold online in two more turns, which will enable everyone to grow a bit more and then whip a bit more. Nice enough little city for now, but in general production is going to be hell. Need to beeline Kremlin, I think. Meanwhile, MOAR WHIPS! Taking off a scientist for a turn to enable the growth, then it's whippy McWhipperton time! ![]() Sigh. Smack dat, Ari. The Hellmouth is about to take some sheep. (giggity?) Also, Perci. Exists. Questions?

So, my goal here is to leave the place looking better than I found it (in two weeks, when Brick and Bride get back). With sweeping ambitions of winning the Marble Suite, that means I need to make lots and lots of beakers. Here's how:
Also, in two turns, another pair of cities go down. The plan is to keep even in cities, ahead on tech, and out of war.

Why were you working that clam instead of the sheep?

NobleHelium Wrote:Why were you working that clam instead of the sheep? Needed the extra commerce to get Calendar in time, and it didn't delay growth. It's easier when I just one-turn the techs, like with IW this last turn. By the way, have iron, making Ariel what passes for a production city in this hammer-starved map. Next up, Lit run!

That looks like Miranda to me...
