What about a city between bananas and copper? It would be on a hill for better defense, while still having access to about the same tiles. It would also get couple fresh water tiles. I think that spot would be easier to defend and it could also provide support if Jkaen at some point decides to attack my capital.

Okay, Oracle is finished Getting rebublic for +1 prod per city / 5% prod for buildings. My next policy is in two turns, which will be used to grab the second last liberty policy. After that I can easily do the finisher whenever I'm in need of any great people (Great engineer most probably).

Gotta love the 2 turn university in my capital . Krakow is also building one and Lotz will be able to start one in next turn. Other than that, having little trouble with barbs so the settling of my 5th city is slightly delayed

Talking about military the warsaw, krakow area looks rather empty at the moment. Barbs can get Horseunits too.

At this point I'm not going to bother building already outdated units. Fortunately composite bows are 1 turn tech etc. so once I'm in the renaissance, I can quickly tech the lower bottom tree for better units and additional defense.

Azza offered sugar for my only copper, but since I will soon get my third copper online, I happily accepted the trade.

Finally got the damn city founded . Amazing what the cargo ships can do, growth in 2 turns while working the copper tile . I'm break even now on happiness, but that's somewhat fixed once the copper mine is finished, since I traded my existing copper to Azza.

In the picture you can also see a fresh horseman, who was generously delivered to us by a city state. Quite nice and unexpected bonus there, since I've got no clue what I did to get their favor.
