Would like to create my own in the future. This is the .pdn file which will only work in Paint.net - I've merged some of the layers together though, so it's not totally obvious how I built it. Turn 86 We have whales! In a terrible location! Is an empire-wide happy worth destroying a sheep for or should we settle 1S of the crab and put 100 culture into the city? Down south we settle NetDoCommand and uncover a trade route to Elkad (worth 5gpt!) We should get cities NW of the clams and E of the horses, then perhaps Elkad will let us grab a city 1N of the fish? So where else should we aim to put cities down here? Demos and power. Hopefully Elkad won't notice the exports/imports numbers.

For those waiting for the city report. I've been hit by a stomach flu and will get to it when I'm feeling better.

Turn 88
Pindi (FIN/EXP Arabia, 10 cities) signed open borders, so we're sending a scout his way, which may just lead to a war declaration and closed borders again. He's only making 2 gpt from us (we make 1 gpt in return) as he doesn't have currency yet, but that should grow over time as our relationship blossoms into firm friendship. ![]() We know he doesn't have currency yet because we got tech visibility on him this turn. Another reason to be cheerful is that we have at least a coinflip for Confucianism when the turn rolls. Our schedule for exploring Elkad (PRO/CHA Native America, 6 cities) is a little slower. He just got himself the Statue of Zeus (+3xp on units built in that city), making him a really juicy target right up until Feudalism when his PRO/CHA 9XP CG3 D1+D3 longbows will shred our knights. The plan is still to try to hit Elkad, dependent on what our scouting reveals. Demos and power. The recent power jumps for both neighbours were Maths, so we're not worrying about that.

Turn 89
"Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it." - Confucius Confucianism founds in InitCore - not an amazing city to build the infrastructure to support a shrine, but a good place for spreading religion to a lot of our cities and Pindicator's cities, and perhaps it'll discourage Pindi from getting ideas about settling Kernel Lake. Another beautiful thing is that AT/Adler sniped Colossus from Gavagai. "They must often change who would be constant in happiness or wisdom." - Confucius So then we try to figure out what Krill's most recent pointless mod-fiddling means for our chances of landing a great prophet. If we want to leave the possibility of an Astronomy bulb open we can only research one of Priesthood or Monotheism. Meanwhile we'll have to grab Meditation next turn to build a temple in HallOfFameInfo which should give us a 25% shot at a great prophet at some point. It's annoying that it's off our tech beeline, costing a turn or two to Monarchy. But we're probably going to delay the golden age a bit anyway to grow our cities so they can produce great people for the second golden age and (hopefully) the shrine. "Study the past if you would define the future." - Confucius Demos and power. Hopefully the spike from our two chariots won't spook Pindi.
