TT throw 11 Catapults at the stack. They all die, and aren't followed up by anything. Extremely wasteful as the medic can heal almost all of my units back to full in a single turn, and because I need to spend the turn bombarding the city defenses anyway.

My oh my what is TT thinking . Sacrificing his Siege-units without gaining anything at all is a surefire way to lose.

Yes - that just seems silly... really he should have everything in the one city and just slam Snadover with cats and then mop up. He has enough siege to be getting good odds with his LB's... if they weren't promoted to CG...

Sandover's diplomacy has been nothing short of crazy in this game. Somehow, someway, it hasn't blown up in his face yet. But he's otherwise playing a great game, and he's had the fortune to be surrounded by some of the weaker teams in the game. For the moment, I can only tip my hat to him.

Poor Twinkletoes has simply made too many mistakes. Once you get off to a bad start, it all snowballs from there... It's a shame, because he wrote a tremendous spoiler thread.

I'm not sure anyone would want to copy my own diplomatic style, given what happened in Pitboss #2. But yeah, I wouldn't act like Sandover!

Personally, I hope to see this Sphinx get a bloody nose. I can't ethically urge TT to continue to fight the good fight, but I sure hope he realizes what he must do.

It wouldn't have hurt if he used some smarter tactics, though. It seems like half of his army got run down because he kept abandoning cities.

I feel quite contrary. I like sandovers play and hope he can overcome his difficulties. At least he does update his thread and is entertaining.

I'm very disappointed by your decision to deceive me prior to canceling our agreement. It's not that I do not understand the logic behind it - it's just that I thought much higher of you than to act in such underhanded ways. I clearly misread your character and will abide by the consquences of my failure, but you shall know that I hereby terminate all diplomatic contact with Ethiopia and that we'll be at war for the remainder of this game. Your act was both completely dishonest and extremely disruptive to the well-being of Egypt, as your word is the one I trusted to keep me safe. If I can somehow - anyhow - bring similar pain upon your civ that you have brought upon mine there will not be a doubt in my mind to go for it.

I hope it was worth it.
